"Lovely food, generally excellent service, with just a couple of niggles. Mostly served by Emma, who was excellent. Very friendly and efficient. We weren't keen on the location of our table at first, right next to a busy station regularly used by staff, but in asking to be moved they were happy to agree. Like all restaurants with no soft furnishings it was a bit noisy, with one particularly annoying loud giggler! But theses two niggles were overshadowed by the yummy food. Highly recommended."

Sadly there was a large noisy Christmas party at the same time, but only to be expected at this time of year. Everything else was as usual very good.

The restaurant was lively. When we arrived, they weren 't aware we had booked through Open Table but as we had arranged to go to dinner at 18:30 they were still able to accommodate. Lovely ambience great food. View menu

We loved the food and service...nothing too much trouble. We chose to lunch outside which was fine but we were a little durprised to be partially in a car park and bus stop. Other than tat it was lovely.....you probably wouldn't notice if you were indoors.

Lovely restaurant in a good location Food outstanding. Nice selection of drinks Best meal I've had in ages. Only slight thing that made it less than 100% was the main course was served a little too quickly So it's 99.5% I'm not complaining about that It's a must We will be back

"Owner rude and arrogant! And you can’t trust them and they won’t make your order right by just saying too busy to make it right! I called in to make a booking but told no tables available but I could place an order for takeaway so I ordered two gluten free pizzas. I also asked what size are the gluten free pizza crust and was told 11”. I was told I would need to wait 1 hour 30 minutes and I agreed. I ordered the Gluten free 11 “ crust as advised for one Olive Tree and one Garlicky . When I arrived, I asked the person with the pizzas to confirm the gluten free pizzas. She looked a bit worried and said they were not gluten free. I asked the other girl if I would have to wait another 1.5 hrs and she said they would expedite my pizzas. The owner came over and said he had two vegan pizzas for 8:30 pm and I said that is not what I ordered. He said he was too busy to remake the pizzas. He said the girl that took the order said she didn’t remember gluten free was ordered. As a Celiac , those are the first words out of my mouth when I order any food and I also inquired the size of the gluten free crust and frequently they are pre-made and sealed and I was told they are 11”. He would not remake the pizzas as he said he has to trust his staff. So he implies the customer are lying and uses it as an excuse to not make it right. It doesn’t excuse not remaking the pizzas correctly as ordered gluten free as I was told a few minutes earlier. I assured him I ordered both pizzas gluten free and my wife came in and also confirmed as she heard me place the order on the phone. I realize this pizza must be well done and popular but not to remake the pizzas and imply me a liar and refusing to remake them is unprofessional. I find his behavior arrogant, rude and unprofessional and just because he went to Italy to learn how to make pizza doesn’t make him a good owner and manager. Hopefully, he won’t blow off this review but learn from it. Always make it right for your customers! And never insult your customers! It also suggest he doesn’t care about his customers because he is too busy. He walks away and just repeats he has to trust his employees. Poor excuse for not making the pizzas as ordered! Employees can make mistakes and as a Coeliac I will also double check as I did when I came to pick up the pizzas. I would advise Coeliacs to not try these pizzas as you can’t trust them to make them to your order. Peace be with you! Dietary restrictions You cannot trust this place to make your gluten free as ordered and they won’t remake it if they made it wrong and just say I have to trust my staff. Very Poor attitude from an owner and a bit arrogant! Customers don’t appear to be important and must be lying if they get an order wrong."
