"left shaken by aggressive and verbally abused bar personnel. I have enjoyed many pleasant evenings in the last few years in the lioness until the evening of Saturday 5th mai, when I, my friend and friends were treated aggressively and abyssily by the bar person who advised he was the manager. my friend has made a vain decision to inform the bar staff, the male toilet was covered with vomiting and faeces the most bars and restaurants have signs in the loo asked customers to report with toilets. we were then asked to pay our food / drink bill, as the changes necessary until the entrance, we immediately paid and asked for another drink, because we do not want to create animosity in a pub, we...more"

Beautiful bar with fast service. Food is not cheap and burgers do not come with fries. Had the Eros plate, which was spicy but delicious! Good selection of crafts and cocktails

lioness of leith has an extensive Burger menu, some of which are vegan or can be made vegan. I really liked the temple burger that is made with a Cajun-Bohnen-Patty, but the hippie with Portobello-Pilz is also really good.

vintage interieur, a cocktail bar and a shiny chandelier, a very good combination in the did. the chicken roast was extremely perfect in taste and presentation. I and my brother have both chickens and wee. it was just delicious. the staff and the service were very good to ensure the happiness of the customer. a must visit place when they have to entertain their hospitable.

Excuse them the cover title, but as a carnivore I was always really hesitant to move to vegan because I was a lot of salat article dissimilar and did not want to eat bland food. I had only literally the best burger I ever had, which proved to be wrong. my vegan fiancée also sings his praise. the temple burger is an extraordinary meal! the personal is wonderful and the venue is really quirky for example our table is a rebuilt flipper table that is still illuminated. they are also very accommodating as I needed gluten-free options that they would like to commit. we are coming back to the final.

zero stars, not here. I have never experienced such terrible service and rudeness in my life, nor have I ever complained about my family before we have dealt with here. the personal was incredibly rude, they got the command of my father twice wrong (probably because they smuggled around to give each other bounces behind the bar instead of serving) and then urged him to say that they could not hear him and that it was his fault that they were wrong twice. they then said they would give my elder wein on the house (what they actually ended us for anyway without telling us). that would have been in order since we are generally very covered and do not want a...more

Every time I 've had a drink in the Lioness of Leith, I have turned into the ultimate nosey neighbour of the pub dining world, my eyes following the journey of the food filled plates as they emerge from the kitchen and travel onwards to their tables. My internal dialogue goes a little something like this Mmmm, that looks good , Oooooh, I wonder what that is , Why did I eat earlier?! , I 'm coming back soon to try that . FINALLY, I have got around to sampling the menu for myself. I reveled in the chilled, midweek atmosphere, far preferable to jam (hipster) packed Friday and Saturday night. I opted for a liquid starter, after being informed by the lovely barmaid with a Geordie accent...read mo...
