"We've been here many a time however today's will probably be the last. We didn't have a reservation but we're able to get a table saying how busy it was. We ordered drinks and food pretty quickly. We noted that there were 3 people taking orders and 1 behind the bar, this resulted in drinks being poured then sat at the bar. We eventually got drinks after around 6/7 mins of them being sat on the bar. We noted that there were not enough staff. Drinks were piling up on the bar, food was sitting on the pass waiting to go out and people were queuing by the entrance to be seated. The staff just couldn't cope. I wouldn't even try ringing no one answers it even when they are standing next to it doing nothing either. After 45 mins of waiting for food and table next to us receiving their starter and then mains (ordered after us) we queried our food. We were told that we ordered after the table next to us and that it depends on what we order. I know this is incorrect as the person has allergies so the waitress went through what they could and couldn't eat. Also it shouldn't matter what you order it's when the order goes to the kitchen that matters. We were told we were next however 15 minutes later the food came. Don't get me wrong the pies are lovely however the pastry lids have changed and are no longer puff pastry more like flat uncooked lids. We won't be visiting anytime soon. There's a serious issue with service and there needs to be more staff. Having drinks sit on the bar for 10 minutes isn't good. Shame really could be a great place to visit"

Visited here for a Christmas meal. Amazing food, great entertainment. Portion sizes were huge! Affordable drinks, overall a great night

Went there tonight for a family meal and we were a large party. Food came quickly and really hot. I’m gluten free and they have a really good gluten free menu and they use all separate cooking facilities. Really recommend you try it

Grateful for being accommodated at short notice… albeit 12 midday. Every table was filled by 12:30 Pre ordered food which worked really smooth.. 12 of us including kids were well satisfied with our choices. Ice cream served in plant pots added that ‘pie factory’ quirkyness … Looking forward to returning soon… Keep up the good work

I had been looking forward to dining at this restaurant for some time, as it is known for its ambiance. However, I was disappointed with the food. Despite hearing rave reviews from friends, the meal did not meet my expectations. My partner's carvery was served cold, and my pie had a dull, flaky pastry. The service was also lacking, as I had to wait longer than other tables that arrived after me. Additionally, the chips were not up to par.

Ridiculous price for what is essentially a Stew in a bowl with a pastry lid placed on the top. The chips are served in a little cage and the whole thing looks a mess which evidently matches the interior. Service was okay but some extra training is needed. The drinks were probably the best thing and you will need to have a few to help with the disappointment. There are many better places and this is just a novelty pub. Don't waste your money here.

By 1 pm, I had just finished my meal and asked for another drink, only to be told that we had to leave the table as we were only allowed a 60-minute limit, something we were never informed of in the beginning. This left us feeling very dissatisfied, as it seemed like the pub was only concerned about making a quick profit. If we had known about the time limit, we would have gone somewhere else. This kind of treatment and lack of proper customer service is unacceptable to us.

"The food is really enjoyable. Some of the meat can be a bit dry in parts but generally speaking it's quite good. Is it better than what you'd get at the average chippy? Not for what it costs. Ordering two box meals and a couple of sides got the cost up to £50 with charges. Considering a large mixed meat in naan at my local chip shop is £7, it's incredibly expensive. There's far too much waste which really needs to be addressed. Every food item is at least two layers of packaging deep. With a box meal you have the outer corrugated cardboard box, then all dividers inside, then the kebab sandwich is in a box of its own, then it's in a foil wrapper, then it's in a paper wrapper. It's all needless waste and when we're all trying to be more conscious of our carbon footprint this just isn't required. There are some nice things that just aren't replicated elsewhere, their kebab bread is fantastic and very similar to a traditional Turkish pide. Their sauces are really good too. Full of flavour and balanced well with the meat but I will say there's never enough of it. Three little poxy pots is all you get.The fries are average. Nothing remarkable about them. The spicy fries are a tasty addition but this option does bump up the price but again, perfectly average.Overall I'd recommend that it's worth trying at least once but the prices are way over valued and quantity in some areas lack. If they cut down on all the needless packaging they could even bring the prices down but £15-20 for a box meal (one can of pop, one kebab sandwich, one fries and two spring rolls) it's a bit of a joke."

"Been wanting to come here for a very long time after driving/walking past it, and my partner has wanted to come here since she’s moved here. Hand sanitizer upon arrival with track trace check in code. All the staff are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and all very masks. The lady we had who served us throughout our time (apologise I forgot her name began with A I think), she couldn’t have been anymore helpful. With a very wide range of food, she told us everything on the menu was very nice as she has tried everything! The decor of the restaurant is what I’d expect in a typical Italian restaurant, very rustic and has a feel of being in Italy. To start I had the belly pork with Jack Daniels sauce, I’ve never tried belly pork and it was so tasty and very tender. My other half had the goats cheese in filo pastry which was also very nice. For mains, I had the Risotto con salsiccia (spicy sausage, peppers, onions, garlic, tomato and chilli). It was so nice I’m glad it was a big portion as I wanted more! I don’t think the sausage was spicy but overall I was very impressed. Other half had a cheese chicken mushroom calzone which was also nice. We had a nice bottle of white wine which absolutely complimented the whole meal. For dessert I had sorbet and other half had a deep fried cannoli once again both really nice. Reasonable priced meal for two people, and very highly recommended. Plenty parking and we will be back soon with our family. Very authentic home cooked Italian food and Cafe Casita is way better than some of these chain restaurants!!"
