"I have to say to whole experience was very underwhelming from the moment I arrived, the food and service. Although I had made my reservation through OpenTable and had an email confirmation the staff had no record of my booking. To add to that it definitely felt like the staff did not believe me and made me feel very uncomfortable in front of my guests. The food was pretty standard, but what made it even worse was the staff were so miserable, no smiles and everything felt like an inconvenience."

Too much sauce and tabasco in the yarn cocktail and I cooked at home. That said service was ok and the Portabello mushrooms delish. Was 60. Birthday event for me and disappointing overall. Sure he can do better.

We came to this restaurant because we had a voucher for it. It seems like most of the customers here are using vouchers too. Our experience was quite pleasant. The food was all delicious. The beef bourguignon and rump steak were particularly good mains, but everything else was also great.

Terrible service. Confirmed booking by text, had confirmation back, then had to call the next day after confirmation. Arrived, table not ready, no service at the bar. Booked 3 course menu, passed normal menu, had to show the booking to finally get correct menu. Then £1 seat fee plus 12.5% top.

On entering an empty restaurant, I was surprised to have the waiter insist on seating us at a table next to the only other guest when the rest of the restaurant was literally empty. For a steakhouse the steak was inedible, the order was brought out wrong on more than one occasion and the staff were all quite dismissive and rude. Not a place I’d go back to.
