"Similar to a lot of reviews here, I had a booking for food in advance of a matchday. I received notification that all was accepted along with my bank details being taken, but when I showed up at the agreed time, there was no recollection of a booking being made. The manager came down and said he did not see bookings through OpenTable (why is it on the site in that case? and told us to take any table we wanted. I asked him to show us where a good table may be, considering we had never been here before. While leading us to a table we were lucky we still had our shoes on by the time we got there as the floor was ridiculously sticky and clearly was not being looked after. It was not busy at the time either, with about 10-20 people in and around the bar area, so there was no excuse to not clean the floor. Only once we got to our table we were then told the kitchen was closed, at 19:00, defeating the whole purpose of booking a table. There was no mention of this anywhere until we were told by the manager, who at this stage did not seem to care what we did. We then traipsed back across the sticky floor to leave straight away."

I made a reservation for a table at this restaurant and provided my credit card information. When I arrived at the pub, it was extremely crowded and difficult to move around. I spoke to the manager and showed my booking confirmation, only to be told that they do not accept reservations on match days. This was not helpful as I had planned to dine here before the game with my friends.

I was told that they do not take reservations. When I mentioned that I booked through the website, I was informed that the manager no longer checks it.
