We didn't want a burger bar or an ice cream place just a good French restaurant reasonably priced and not too touristy. Monteverdi was perfect very classy and comfortable.

I first came to dinner in august, I brought my wife back to we’s dinner tonight and it was still nice. really nice eating, the service is amazing (all so nice, friendly and attentive, just perfect). we'll be back....Well, the flight of oz worth.

Stumbled in off the bus from Vaison de Romaine. Found this place just a couple of blocks up the road. We both had the price fixe lunch. Delicious salad,, a huge cheese and Larson casserole, and enormous bowl of strawberries chantilly for desert. All supranational.

Having just arrived in Orange, coming up from the railway station and in need of refreshment, we stopped at the Monteverdi. Although they didn't have croissants or pastries to offer us, the gentleman who served us said we could buy them from the boulangerie round...the corner and come back and have them with a coffee. He even moved a little table outside for us to go with two comfortable armchairs. We decided to return in the evening for a meal and weren't disappointed.
