"this restaurant in running the years visited and eating is decent, decor is beautiful and service is pretty good. However, we visited tonight (Wednesday) to try the new gourmet burger club deal that they have sprinkled in all social media (apparently from Sun-Wed...just to say they “don’t run the deal tonight). when we asked why they offer the same burger at the full price on the normal menu, but would not serve us on the deal, they have reluctantly agreed to calculate us the discounted price. we got deals only classic burger, no offer of drawn pork/mac and cheese/chickener options, which were advertised in the frame of the frame. the staff was huffy for the rest of the evening. it is a decent restaurant, but don’t let them be fooled by their “tudes”. I thought it was just designed to get you in the door."

I always enjoy coming back to this restaurant. I used to live just across the street and really enjoyed having this amazing place in my neighborhood. It's great for lunch, dinner or just a drink. I shared fish and chips and mac and cheese with Barbitchka during my most recent visit and I loved both of the dishes. The outside seating is great especially during summer. Since this place is usually packed it's good to book a table in advance. The staff is always friendly and very efficient. I'll be back! View menu

We’ve been writing reviews on Zomato for a while now so when they invited us along to a #zomatomeetup we thought it would be a pretty good way to spend our Thursday evening. The venue of choice was Montpeliers Bar. Situated up in Bruntsfield it’s been open since 1992 and has recently undergone a make-over. We were pleased to see that they’ve still kept their 2 courses for £10 and 2 mains for £10 offers along with the extensive cocktail menu and excellent beer selection. The inside of Montpeliers is spacious, romantic and has a French country vibe to it. When we arrived at 6pm the place was a hive of activity.
