"Staying in the area, we thought we'd enjoy a meal at a local pub. When we arrived, the dining room was mostly empty and there were 5 people in the pub (with seating for many more). Rather than welcoming us as we arrived, the young man behind the bar asked if we had reservations, hemmed and hawed, and said we'd have at least a 20 minute wait for service. We didn't feel like moving on, so we took our chances. The young woman who served us was much friendlier and we didn't actually have much of a wait at all. We ordered a selection of starters and a bottle of wine. A couple of the starters were fine, but one was served at room temperature and one, deep fried, was quite greasy and not very flavourful. The hummus was too salty too eat. When we left (the pub was empty other than us, and the dinging room was nowhere near full), we asked the good server why we were given such a frosty welcome, and she told us the kitchen was actually understaffed that night. If only the fellow had just said that, rather than implying that we should have made a reservation, we might not have felt snubbed. Not a good impression."

Staff lovely, food below average. Steak over cooked. Kids meal poor smallest piece of over cooked sweet corn ever. Expensive for poor quality.

I enjoyed my stay very much and the room was beautiful. The staff made me feel welcome and Zaneta deserves a special mention because she is amazing and an asset to the company. I will definitely return.

A three star hotel with 5 star staff. Friendly and professional they make your stay. Rooms are average. Bathroom was tight on space. Evening meal was okay. Breakfast was good as you order from a menu as opposed to a buffet.

Staying at the Hydro we walked here for a drink because it's dog friendly. Saw the flyer for Steak Night and decided to book.Staff were attentive and friendly. My blue steak and it's accompaniments were delicious, my wife enjoyed her main too.My sticky toffee dessert was excellent. My wife ordered lemon meringue but the meringue was very runny and seemed under cooked the pastry and lemon were delicious though.Good wine, good service and a good price we'd definitely go back.

We had dinner here one night while staying at the Crieff Hydro just down the road, and it was very good. The staff were all really friendly and efficient, and the dining room is lovely. It was nice to see several vegetarian options and the vegetable and cheese wellington was tasty, served with delicious roasted potatoes and greens. My husband had the balmoral chicken which he said was really good, and the cheesecake we had afterwards was nice too.Overall it was a great meal and very reasonably priced. We'd definitely return, next time we're in the area.

the rooms are a little dated, based on the experience of the family room I had. there was a lot of space for a family of 4 and had everything they would expect. service of personal was friendly and welcoming. they would stop and chat while ensuring that their needs and expectations are met. I love crieff as it offers an open space to enjoy with the children. the murray park is just a few minutes to walk from the most important crieff hydro hotel and offers for those who stay a somewhat quieter basic, but still close enough to enjoy everything the resort has to offer. the food in the hotel was also excellent.

It was great to be able to visit The Murraypark again when lockdown was eased. We were slightly apprehensive but the hotel was well prepared and we felt safe with all the measures in place. The staff, as always, were brilliant, efficient and friendly. They are what makes this hotel! Many thanks to Lynne for a warm welcome back and Shannon, Alannah and Zaneta who looked after us so well at dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was outstanding, we had the curry, steak and chicken and all were so tasty. Definitely compliments to the chef. We are already planning on coming back soon!

This hotel is a lovely hotel and handy if you have both dogs and children and want to use the facilities at the Crieff Hydro as this is the sister hotel. The rooms are nice and modern and comfortable. Staff and check in was easy. The restaurant and bar are pleasant and reasonably priced. The food is excellent and a good variety of choice. It is within a 5 minute walk from the Hydro so very handy for all the activities and pool etc. The only downfall we found, which is not really a downfall if you prepare for it, was the breakfasts are freshly cooked and it does take a while for them to come. As we had activities booked most mornings we had to go early after missing out on our first day, due...
