Spent a few hours with friends at this pub. The landlord was very friendly and attentive, making sure we had a great time. The pub itself is in a lovely location and we would definitely recommend it.

What lovely pub owners!! We popped in just to have a drink and ended up booking dinner the following evening. The food, service, location and beer garden was all spot on! Les the owner is a right laugh and after dinner sat with him and his lovely wife Emma for a couple of drinks! We hope to come back for a slice of the best selling Malteser Cheesecake!

The coleslaw was classic and the fries were fantastic. The walk over from Woodmancote was lovely, but beware of the steep climb - you might want to limit yourself to two pints!
