"I had sushi on this trip and this place was down street from the grant hotel Leveque where l I stayed at. I had a sashimi dinner. The miso soup was as good as any other I had. The salad it comes with was nice, but was more of a coleslaw unlike to what I would normally eat at a sushi restaurant in Toronto which is iceberg lettuce with peppers and tomatoes. The fish was good and the staff nice."

craving for sushi and sashimi? Oniwa serves good salmon sashimi and not expensive too! So if your done with visiting the Eiffel, head down Rue Cler and look for Oniwa!

My wife and I went to Oniwa for our second time last night. The restaurant was busy but the service was still good and the food was delicious. Great value for the money too. We will certainly be back again.

This is as good little sushi place in the heart of rue cler. Not fancy choices like the US (but that's everywhere in Paris). Lively good tasting sushi. Stuck to the basic, salmon, tuna, none of us like the eel though. The fried shrimp roll was good.

We had been traveling for a few day, eating really well and wanted something different. Oniwa offered the perfect break. Unlike the other Asian places on Rue Cler, this establishment offers fresh sushi, and a very good variety. Not like one finds in CA, but it was good, fresh and served very nicely on a boat/tray.

I love sushis and japonese food. Oniwa is nothing pretentious. For people liking sushis and japonese cuisine you will like it. Oniwa offers a wide selection of menus for lunch not exceeding 10euros, and add an other 2euros at night. The service is fast and nice. Of course it's not a fancy restaurant but for an express lunch or diner it's a great deal.I recommend it.Enjoy,Louis
