This is one of the few restaurants in Kempen that's actually open on Mondays. Food quality is above average and service was attentive. Menu is fairly broad, and there is an English menu for ye not fluent in German. One option appeared to be a...sizeable calzone, but unsure how it was listed on the menu. Would recommend for lunch

Stopped here by chance while staying overnight in Kempen. It looked inviting with a good menu and we were hu get so we went in. A good choice! The food was very fresh and tasted great. I had, carpaccio, some great lamb and a plum...pannacotta. The menu range was good and the staff really helpful. It was cosy and seemed very popular. Would highly recommend

My favorite carpaccio of beef was very basic but good, but priced a bit high for German standards. Didn't check out any wines, as we were in a group of and I would be the only caring for wine better than the house wine....All mains look good, several dishes with meat. I went for pizza, and it was good, thin and good ingredients. Want to go back one time, when I've got a better appetite, as this visit I was still filled up from my warm lunch I had earlier

We arrived on a Sunday night when the Christmas fair seemed to be coming to a close so many of the restaurants were either full or just closing at The restaurant was busy and we know why the food is really delicious and...good value for money. There are lots of wines by the glass handy when you are driving! There is a mix of pizzas stone oven, pastas, meats and fish so something for everyone. The atmosphere is nice and the staff attentive. We would go back again

We were invited last night for a birthday. We were received very nicely. In two of the invited guests the drinks were brought much later. That was annoying because we wanted to start together. The service apologized. The food was taken up. The daily fish was no longer available around 19 h. They chose homemade pasta. The portions were more than minimalist and absolutely overpriced. A meal was served much later. Quality was good, quantity was missing. As an excuse for this pampered evening, everyone was taken a glass of Prosecco. We left the place hungry.

As best reviewed restaurant in Kempen, I became curious about it. I wasn't specially in the mood for Italian food but hey, let's try something different. The menu is pretty large. Besides the normal menu, they also have a Tageskarte. I'm not sure what it...exactly mean besides literally translated: menu of the day because I don't think they change it that often. However, they've had some nice meals on it. I choose as a starter the carpaccio, which was good. Let's face it, what could you do wrong with a carpaccio besides cutting it too think and serving it too cold. Anyway, it was good. As a main I had fusilli with shrips and mushrooms. That one stood out! I liked it a lot and it was very fre...
