Excellent food, friendly and efficient service, pleasant atmosphere and value for money not cheap but worth every penny. Glad we booked as there were plenty of people turned away at the door as all the tables were taken.

This restaurant really was a perfect find. Could not fault the food excellent) and the service friendly and attentive). We are not local to Norwich but so wish this place was near us. Congratulations to the staff and chef. The ravioli and risotto were both fantastic.

Located in the heart of the city, near The Lanes area, this genuine Italian restaurant caught our attention with a great lunch special. We both savored a delicious chicken pasta dish, prepared with excellence. The service was also top-notch. Overall, we had a delightful lunch experience.

My first visit to this restaurant was very enjoyable. It was busy at lunchtime, but the atmosphere was relaxed. Despite being a small restaurant, it didn't feel cramped. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and they were very generous with the optional parmesan. I would definitely recommend this place and I plan on returning. Thank you Paolo's. (I forgot to take a photo at the beginning of the meal, and missed taking a photo of my Mom's plate, which was unfortunate as we all ordered different dishes)

I recently discovered this restaurant and what a gem it is! It was my first time visiting and I will definitely be returning when I am in Norwich next. The restaurant may appear smaller from the outside, but the service was incredibly friendly and the seats were surprisingly comfortable. We were seated by the window and since we had booked for an early dinner, it was not very crowded. The food was absolutely amazing! I know this is a bold statement, but the carbonara dish was the best I have ever had, even better than when I was in Italy! My husband also thoroughly enjoyed his seafood linguine. Paolo’s has always looked worth a visit so decided to go with friends and booked ahead. It is quite small inside but the tables are nicely laid out so as not to be squeezed in. We were cheerfully greeted and offered a window seat with a nice view of the Guildhall City Hall, with menus and a carafe of water quickly arriving. We all chose pasta from the ‘Lunchtime Menu’ that gave a good choice of Oven Baked or Pastas for a reduced price. Visited this restaurant three times for lunch during a week's holiday in Norwich. Situated on the edge of the iconic and charming Lanes area, in the City Centre but away from the busy chain restaurants outside Chantry Place Shopping Centre. Both ladies working as Front Of House were very welcoming and friendly. The eating area is well laid out in matching seats and tables, with a sensibly clean hard flooring.
