Had various dinners over the last year. Location and ambiance are great especially in the summer with the table outside. Mixing feelings on food and service is too slow. To be improved.

The menu card in this restaurant, has several dishes, but the Steinbeisser is REALLY a dish worth trying.VERY delicate fish, and prepared to perfection not the least undercooked and still VERY moist and delicious. TRY IT!!! View menu

Our favorite restaurant here in the area. We've never been disappointed before. Frequently new menus, so it never gets boring. The dishes are always freshly prepared and very creative, the staff very attentive. We always like to go.

We were four people for lunch. This restaurant is on a great location. Inside it is a very big room. The salad bar was very limited but the dressing excellent. I ordered a dish from the lunch menu und my meshed potato was only Luke...war.. the curry my friend ordered was very spicy hot. Overall an average visit.

I visited this restaurant over Christmas with my Mom and it was simply fantastic. The service was terrific, the food was amazing, and it was all refreshingly casual, even though this is one of the best restaurants in Leer. I definitely want to go again...next time I am in Germany. The wait staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, we got great advice on the wine selection, and the cocktails were great too. View menu

This is the restaurant of Hotel Hafenspeicher. It was a Tuesday and some of the restaurants that we wanted to go were closed – so we ended up in Pier The service was very friendly. The food is German partly cross-kitchen. We ate...fish and it was good. What I found odd, was that the ‘catch of the day’ included several fish species which are surely not from the Nordsee – like Parrot fish. Anyway, we enjoyed our dinner – so would recommend this restaurant.

I just came back from a workout so I was pretty hungry and hey, they got some cool sounding veggie options. As last night my targeted Thai was on vacation I chose the Red Thai Curry in this place. It is really, really difficult to...screw up this dish I thought at least until today. I should have been alarmed when they did not serve a spoon. It turned out to be a Nightmare of Broccoli with cauliflower and Pak Choi It was not their fault, I really hate both vegetables but even with a potato it would have been far, very very far away from a Thai Curry like an egg never will be a cucumber. I am really blown away by this misinterpretation... Picture enclosed.

Last night we had a quick look in the restaurant Pier next to our Hotel Hafenspeicher. This is in located the same building and has its own entrance from outside but also an inside passage. The restaurant is operated independently but offers the possibility...to put the bill of a meal on the hotel invoice. So for hotel guests this is a nice gesture. The menu choice is not very large, but they do offer some interesting appetizers, a variety of different sushi dishes and also fish and meat main courses.
