"durante la nostra vacanza a baveno, eravamo volte, uno a cena per mangiare pizza e l'altro a pranzo attratto da vari piatti di pesce. Le pizze molto buone, buoni ingredienti e soprattutto leggere, così come dolci, tiramisù e cannolo siciliano (freschissimo). A pranzo mio marito ha scelto come antipasto una buona insalata di polpo con un sacco di canzone, mandorle e chiodi di arancio molto amaro. I grandi fiori di zucca fritta ripieni di mozzarella e acciughe, purtroppo per noi erano molto unti e sapevano solo di olio infatti non potevo finirli. poi linguine con vongole e cime di rapa e spaghetti marinara, pasta ben cotta, molto buona, condimento leggero ma porzioni un po 'slow. Servizio molto gentile (a pranzo in attesa ci hanno portato trance pizza appena fatte) e veloci, buoni prezzi, porzioni abbondanti solo nell'antipasto, non hanno mai richiesto il passaggio verde."

The area is clean and nice, but the service is not good, the food was served cold, the steak was not tender not recommended.

Delicious dinner. After an afternoon of traveling we walked-in early for dinner and were greatly surprised. Every plate was delicious.

Our last meal and our last night in Italy for 2023. Octopus salad, pizza with a bottle of Barbera and limoncello. Oh we are going to miss this beautiful country. But we will be back

We had two pizzas, and two different pastas plus green salad. It was nothing special overall. The service was nothing extraordinary. There were big groups and maybe they received better service.

So friendly and helpful. I have a cheese intolerance and so avoid, and miss, pizzas. But these pizzas were amazing and the staff were happy to make me a lovely cheese free pizza, stunning and at €8 a pizza great value too. Great quality and value food

We stopped on way back to car and had a great meal. The pasta with meat onions was wonderful. This was followed by ribs and my wife had grilled chicken both were very nice. Would have gone back next night if we're in town as the pizza looked amazing. Very good service.

Grano Duro could be anywhere. It just happens to be in Stresa. It could just as easily be located in Little Italy in New York or in a small back-street in Bangkok or Singapore or in the suburbs of Melbourne or Sydney. Good Italian food, home-style, not fancy in any way. But it was busy, which reinforces that they must be doing something right. Stresa locals and tourists are very lucky. We had a thin cheese-based mushroom pizza, basically a special request, plus a salad. That was enough. It hit the spot and was fast and reasonably priced.
