"We stumbled into this restaurant while looking for another and are we glad we did! It's a sweet place with a nice warm vibe. It's very simple, and the people are what drew us in. My husband ordered the gnocchi and I had vegetarian lasagne. He started with a minestrone soup with fresh vegetables and no pasta. It was the best I have every tasted. I had plenty of food with my dish, so I am not sure how his was, but the lasagne was incredibly creamy and big enough for 2 meals. We found the service to be very good and genuine. For our short trip, we plan to go again, it was that good."

Came at 10pm on a Sunday night, no one in the place and they made me a pizza that was not on the menu for only 10€. It was delicious and the people very friendly! I recommend!!

Location is good, right in the old town. I tried the rucola salad with parmesan, quite good, and then a pizza. It's very thin, right size, noticeable wood-oven cooked, and quite tasty.

classic pizzeria in the cave atmosphere, wood-burning pizza extremely good, with the time even raised kitchen, but reasonable prices for Düsseldorf-Altstadt. the spiral staircase to the sanitary facilities requires sport. very pleasant authentic Italian service. View menu

Don't be fooled by the outside. They have one of the best pizza's I have eating. They bake their pizza in an oven with fire by wood. The service is very good and you do feel like in Italy. Also the price is acceptable. The place is very clean. It is our place to eat in Düsseldorf.

This place was the third pizzeria we had tried in three days and ''Bang On ''Everything was so Italian ( even all the staff ) When I left the place I was shocked to realize that we were in Dusseldorf :-))Great Prosciutto, Great Foccacio, Great Margarita and even Greater House Wine (Merlot )

The pizza is out of this world. It's difficult to describe the taste in words. Let's just say that it was very delicious, perfectly light, and juicy with virtually no crust, so you'll definitely eat the whole damn thing. They also give you garlic butter with just-out-of-the-oven bread. Seriously, the bread was very hot, but also fresh and tasty. The service was very nice and hospitable as well. I'll definitely come back. One of the best meals I had in Germany! View menu

I was stuck outside the (horrible) guest house next door - they'd accepted my reservation, but no one was there to let me in. A waiter on his break lent me his phone, talked to the proprietor, and generally did all he could to help me.What a lovely and kind person. And he was on his break at the time. That was all I needed to be convinced to go to this restaurant.Wish I'd got the waiter's name: he was smoking a cigarette on 28 Nov at about 2000 or 2030. Black hair, side parted. Maybe 5' 8" tall. Sturdy build. Kind face. Maybe in his 40s.

Travelling around Germany with a friend, it was a surprise to find a great Italian restaurant in downtown Dusseldorf. It calls itself 'pizzeria', but has amazing dishes from Italian cuisine, like bruschetta (that we asked for starter), risottos and pastas. My friend asked for a risotto and I asked for a spagetti bolognese. The service is fast although the waiter seemed to be a little impacient. The value you pay is fair, less than 40 Euros, including two glasses of red wine and S.Pellegrino water.Visit them if you want to try something from German food.
