"A wonderful place to relax and feel good. The team is very friendly and gives you the feeling to be welcome. Despite a full host room, each table is covered with a courtesy attention. The mature cheese and the master crust tasted excellent and the carving of Viennese style was bomb, as was the roast potatoes. Also taking two dogs was not a problem because there is enough space between the individual tables, so no other guest feels disturbed. In any case, a place that invites you to stay in summer with a magnificent outdoor area and views as well as in winter with a cozy guest room. The menu is varied and therefore there is something for every taste. We like to come back."

"The location is idyllic, the menu and food delightful, the wine good and affordable, but I couldn't pay for our guests and ourselves because the Baiken does not accept US/Canadian credit cards so bring cash!! May explain why there were lots of locals here,...and very few tourists. This is certainly a locals' secret, as it is in a tiny town (Eltville am Rhein), up the hill at the edge of a large vineyard, in the Rhine Valley near Ruedesheim. The food is very classic German, and well prepared. Two of us had the veal shanks with chanterrelles and a demi-glace. Another had a pork cutlet, with spaetzle. The wait staff was most accommodating, allowing us to switch veggies, etc. We shared a cheese and asparagus quiche as an appy. For wine, we chose a Graubergunder grey burgundy as our wine, like a flavourful pinot gris, costing about euro a bottle, although there were more expensive choices available. Crème caramel and cappuccinos for desert. The outside seating is substantial, with the patio looking down on the Rhine, and there is a large Gaststube inside as well. We'll find a way to get back!"

"Unfortunately, our first visit will also be our last one. to the positive: the wine selection is really delicious and well chosen, in the case of mineral water you should definitely think again about the price (soda stream water, which is presented here, and real brand water should be different in the price). eating is good average, green soße is the hammer! "I will write in English so that everyone from where they know what I think of this place: In all my years (8! living in this area, I had never really been there to eat. I visited the mill museum once and well, we visited the mill wheels when it was cold and frozen because it was beautiful. But on April 3, 2018 we were able to have our reception and wedding party there. And, oh boy, it was so great. The owner is very friendly and tries to join your wishes for his best. He's very kind. This place allows dogs in the hotel and in the restaurant that I really love because it is not always easy to go outside and eat somewhere nice when you own a dog. The food is excellent. I could bathe in her fried potatoes and there marinaded salmon is to die. All other foods are also very good. The staff is friendly, friendly and makes every effort to make the guests feel comfortable and well visited. The rooms are clean and very, very sweet. Your service via the museum as a party place is excellent. They work efficiently and precisely and... My guests visited this place. The museum has so much to see and the whole place also outside and inside. You have a playground that can be seen from both the restaurant and the museum. There is a mere footpath and the whole mill wheel concept. It makes it a great place to celebrate even with the children. It is nice, quiet, very cozy and it will never be boring.
