Porchetta, La Clerkenwell

la porchetta has for me for some time become a dinner-cour-to-post-seager wells, although most time not because of its dazzling internal or divine food, as much as due to close and reasonable prices. often that's all you're looking for.

Fabulous pizzas. We had a leaving party for a colleague of mine the other night. The pizzas were great and we were attended to by lovely staff. I don't know why we haven't been here before! We had a great night and we will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed this place last night which was busy and bustling. The food was great, I had a pasta with langoustine and my partner had a huge margarita pizza which was lovely! The staff were friendly And I had a great experience. I will be back for sure! Well done guys and girls View menu

my new friend! I had a nice evening here, great eating and a very welcoming team. I had the linguine with bark meatballs and my friend had the cajun pizza. we were both full and really enjoyed our meal, but had to try the house made tiramisu before we left what was heavenly. thanks for a great night!

a delightful evening! After I was recommended by a friend, I was not disappointed. both the service and the food were great. I went for spaghetti gigi with gluten-free pasta and my man the bufala pizza. we also enjoyed the homemade tiramisu, which was recommended by our waiter! thanks for a nice evening.

We took a taxi to a gluten-free restaurant that claimed on their website that no reservation was necessary. However, upon arrival, we were informed that there was no availability. Fortunately, we stumbled upon a charming pizzeria down the street that offered gluten-free pizza. We were pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend this spot. The service was excellent as well. Visited this place on Monday evening. The restaurant is placed in a beautiful period building, it's spacious and light. Though I can't say the interior is cosy. Food is slightly overpriced, but pizzas were served super fast, they were huge and rather tasty and the staff was friendly. So if you need a quiet place with nice food two steps away from Exmouth Market that's the one.

la porchetta dinner 4 nov 2012. a local gem presented by a friend. the layout is very open and thus a bit loud and impersonal, but excellent eating and service. gluten-free options are very welcome. pure, simple eating, large portions and very enjoyed! four covers; starter: antipasto and garlic bread. net: fusilli al pesto, linguine mare monte (both gluten-free,) milanese pomodoro, linguine polpette chilli. desserts: profiteroles, affogato, latte drink: 2 x flaschen cab sav, 3 x moretti pints

We'd come to London for the weekend and hadn't booked anywhere for dinner, thinking it would be relatively easy to find somewhere to eat on a Friday night. We tried a number of venues along Exmouth Market with no success, until we stumbled upon La Porchetta. There were plenty of tables available, even at 8pm on a Friday night. The service was incredibly fast and you could see your pizzas being made in front of you. A pizza or pasta dish was around £10, which I would consider typical for London. The food was delicious, the salad was fresh and the recommended wine was really nice.I'd definitely visit again. View menu
