"Was staying at the Premier Inn next door, so had booked breakfast here for my stay. Food is a bit average for the price vegan sausage is good, baked beans quite bland and have had better hash browns. Inconsistent offerings they advertise muffins, but this was only available on 1 day out of 3. Staff wait a long time before clearing out tables. A bit dated interior. Could do with a deep clean and revamp."

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend trying the lasagna. Overall rating: 5 for ambiance, 4 for service. The highlight of the restaurant is its peaceful setting. View menu

Located near Old Trafford, this restaurant is a peaceful haven. While they were out of draft cider and the Guinness was not available, there was a decent choice of bottled drinks and draft lager. The service was prompt and welcoming, and the food was satisfying, although not outstanding. Overall, the service and location both receive a perfect score of 5.

We were going to Paris that evening and stopped off before for a lovely post birthday meal, service was great and the food was amazing, the barman down stairs old guy, made us feel uneasy when we arrived, but the young girl and lad who served us awesome. Highly recommend, will return again. Thankyou Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic

"Hearing about a traditional fish and chip shop in Prestwich, complete with a restaurant and bar, and cooking in beef-dripping with the option for vegetable oil (call to confirm vegetable oil availability), I was compelled to check it out. Upon entering the shop, I found myself in the bar area, with access to the restaurant located upstairs. The bar was furnished with tables, chairs, and stools for those wishing to enjoy a drink or avoid the stairs. It is encouraging to see young people engaged in the fish and chip shop trade, potentially leading to more traditional establishments in the future. The cod, although slightly smaller than expected, was delicious and cooked to perfection. The chips were among the best I’ve had in a long time. The pea fritters, black pudding fritters, and tartare sauce were also excellent. In-house pies were available as well, so I sampled the cheese and onion and meat and potato varieties and can recommend both. There is parking available across the street and on-street. However, the opening hours might not suit those looking for a lunchtime meal, as at the time of this review, the hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and closed on Sunday and Monday.
