"I first moved into St.Just area in 2009 and found this takeaway, when I phoned them and asked if they use MGS I was told that they never use any MSG so I don't know what that reviewer in 2013 is talking about! I have bought meals from here on average about once a month for the last 11 years and not once have I been given sub-standard food, in fact I've had chineese takeaways from all over London, Surry and Berkshire and none of them were as good as the Red Star in St.Just. I will continue getting my takeaway from here for as long as I live in the area."

we got a take away from here whist in the area for a family wedding. Order was ready extremely quickly and the food was really tasty. Enjoyed by us all and excellent value.

King prawns lovely Chicken balls poor, batter appeared reheated Chicken fried rice was mediocre Was concerned about the time it took to pay and collect food is about 8 minutes Service was good and parking outside

What a takeaway! Doesn't look a lot from the outside tucked away in St Just side street; but what lush food and plenty of it for your money. Very tasty and the pancake rolls are something else. Don't miss it if you want a nosh down west.

We don't normally have takeaways but we're visiting on holiday for my birthday. Decide to have a Chinese, rang up and ordered, 10 minute wait. Able to park close to pick up, they only take cash which I didn't realise but the cash point by the post office is close by. Reasobably priced and very tasty.

Staying on a local campsite and after eating healthy salads and a bbq we decided to visit this takeaway. I’m very pleased that we did. The fried chilli beef was very tasty. Beef green pepper was cooked well so that the meat was soft. Vegetable chow mien enjoyed by my daughter. Chips and fried rice also good. Highly recommend.

Visited this humble takeaway 3 times this last year and it has pleased us each time. The meals have an individual homemade spin to them and the vegetables are fresh with a crunch. Each time our order has been quickly cooked in less than 5 minutes. Especially recommend the vermicelli Singapore- very tasty and nicely spiced and the pancake rolls which are huge, juicy, bursting with flavour and not at all greasy. We always request 'no extra added salt '. Service is friendly and efficient. Good value. Well done.
