"I have been to this Greek restaurant sevens lunch. The choice of meals is vast, so everybody should be able to find something of his or her taste. The restaurant is run by a Greek family. I have ordered Tzatziki for a starter: the...portion was big enough and the taste. I have also tried prawns with tomato space sauce: it was not on the menu and was prepared upon our special wish. The portion was good and the taste was good. I have also tried Moussaka. The portion was more than enough, the taste was ok, but nothing more. I have also tried asparagus soup- white asparagus the taste was good. As a special seasonal offer, they offered a variety of dishes with golden chanterelles. I tried the one with fresh golden chanterelles, salmon, a baked potato and broccoli is served as well. The portion was big. The salmon was well prepared, and the fresh golden chanterelles prepared with onions were really fresh, well prepared and the structure of the mushrooms was excellent. The deep fried calamari with French fries were ok. The portion was sufficient and mayo sauce was served. The offered Greek wines are of good quality, the choice is fine. The prices are fair. At the end guests are offered and served a portion of ouzu from the house! The bread is served out of charge. The boss/ owner is very friendly. The prices for Hamburg are fair as well. I can recommend this restaurant."

that I am now a native of jannis, it is likely to say everything in itself.Jannis as an immeasurable charmeur leads this family business with love and care and always takes care of its guests. eating is from lamb to gyros by the bank class and also the prices are absolutely appropriate. View menu

this was the last time with jannis! I had a gyros bake and it tasted burned. the brokkoli tasted watery and the gyrose meat had a slimy texture. the rice was flooded with sauce. I paid 14,-€ for a meal where I would not even offer a cat or a dog! it is not worth eating there! I'm glad I didn't get food poisoning! !

we were here with friends, had booked a table in advance. the reception was warm, the table well chosen and the food excellent. the service friendly, attentive and flink. the card is clearly more imaginative than many other Greeks. The obligatory ouzo was not as usual for greeting, but after the main court and then a nice one to pay. a good regulation, so you have something in your stomach and the schnaps is happy too. Conclusion: who likes Greek is definitely well served here.

I have been to this restaurant many times and it was again a big pleasure to revisit it upon its opening. The staff is caring and friendly. The great choice of wines at reasonable prices. The lunch menu is excellent value of money. This time...I ordered salmon, which was fresh, a big portion, well prepared, medium rare, served with Chanterelles mushrooms and a baked potato with Tzatziki. The calamar rings were soft and well prepared. At the end ouzu was served from the house. I am happy to be there back soon. Do not miss this place. View menu

I have been to this restaurant many times and I can only confirm that I have never ever been disappointed. The quality here is a priority. This time we ordered: Tzatziki- it was served with fresh bread- the taste of Tzatziki was perfect, so...was the bread. But it would be better to serve it with pita bread as it is done very often in Greece. Tomato soup- good taste, but could be more spicy. The daily special : fresh mussels with veggies/ tomatoes soup- sauce. The taste was ok, the portion was big. Good wines are offered. Fair prices. Fast service. I can recommend this restaurant. Probably, the best in the area.

This is not my first visit, I have visited this restaurant many times. And I never got disappointed. This time I ordered a salad with feta cheese. The salad was fresh, and accompanied with variety of vegetables. Tzatziki was served with salad, perfect taste. We...ordered a brochette of salmon and prawns. It was accompanied by a salad. The prawns were of good size, well- prepared, juicy and spicy upon our request! Tzatziki as a starter is a good option, tasty and big portion. The boss and his son are very friendly with the customers. Good atmosphere. Good wines are offered. Good quality and good value for money. I recommend this restaurant.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
