"We have driven by this place many times over the years and never thought to give it a try. What a mistake! A huge lost opportunity. The place 'glows' white at night and it almost gives the impression of a cafe; however, once inside the two large dining rooms have a great ambiance. We preferred to one off to the right as the smoke from the kitchen/take-out counter at the entrance seemed to be drifting into the main dining room.The service is fast and attentive. We had three different folks ensure we had placed our orders. They do it all on iPad so the speed to the kitchen is impressive. A good selection of drinks and a great selection on the menu.WE had the "gemuesote, a huge platter of wonderful vegetables accompanied with rice. There was a medley of cauliflower, carrots, beans, peppers, onions, etc. Nicely prepared, certainly not mushy but could have had a bit more or a crunch. A nice touch was that they were grilled first so that really enhanced the flavour.We also had the "gyros uberbacken", a pan of baked gyros meat, with cheese and onions and supposedly garlic. I had even asked for extra but that got lost (hence the 4 not 5 stars!). It even says on my bil "viel knoblauch" but I guess the Chef got distracted.We really enjoyed the evening and will be back!"

We were expecting so much more based on our last visit a couple of years ago. Not sure if they are slipping or had an off night. The cordon blu was okay with a reasonable portion of frites but overall the food was just so-so....More

Large selection of dishes for small money. Looks like a Greek restaurant, but also the Schnitzel lover is served here. Nice operation, short waiting times and just before the Dutch border. What can I say? Smakelijk eten and good appetite

Excellent suvlaki, gyros, zadziki, salads, schnitzel etc. all served in a spacious dining room with comfortable chairs, generous protions and good service. The menu offers various combinations of dishes so diners may experiment and try new items. It's a great place for only 2 people or for a large group, and we meet friends here often because everyone loves the food and service.

Just had a nice supper at the Odessa for the first time and really enjoyed it. I had the Gyro while my wife had the Grilled Chicken. Prior to the mains, we each had the complementary salad, which was very good. Both dishes came with fries, which were just ok. The gyro and chicken were tasty and I wouldn't mind having them again. This meal, including 2 Konig Ludwig beers, was just over 24 Euro and overall I think it was a good value. I should add that the staff was very nice and brought a complementary shot of Ouzo. The restaurant itself and the WC were very clean. My only real criticism of this restaurant is that they are cash only; no credit card and no bankcard accepted. I realize that som...
