"We visited this restaurant tonight for dinner and had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The interior has about five tables and the seating is a bit cramped. We ordered masala dosa, roti with chicken curry, nasi goreng, nasi lemak, and curry laksa. The roti with chicken curry was delicious and I really enjoyed it. The masala dosa was good with the chutneys and sambar. The curry laksa had a good flavor, but the curry had a lack of chicken pieces and tofu, and more bean sprouts. The nasi goreng was tasty, but didn't feel authentic due to the ingredients. The nasi lemak had plain boiled rice instead of fragrant coconut milk rice. The fried chicken was lacking in seasoning. I wanted to try the chicken biryani and fried chicken, but the portion sizes seemed small for the price. We may come back in the future for the roti with curry."

The Malaysian and pan-Asian dishes at Farewell of Redis are excellent. The teh tarik is perfect, the dosa is delicious, and the nasi goreng is outstanding. However, I would recommend skipping the chili distributor and the laksa.
