"we had a large group, and they accommodated us well, the service was excellent, the food is why the average rating- the food was simple and well prepared, if a little heavy with the butter/oil- the menus was standard fare- comfort food in the Italian stylethe wine selection was Italian regional and of reasonable quality- however the staff were very friendly and welcoming, happy to let us try a taste of some of the wines before we ordered a bottleif I am in neighborhood and want a simple meal and decent glass of wine- I will be back"

One of the best Italian restaurant in Berlin. Good location, close to the Under den Linden.The food was really good, nice looking and tasting. I can recommend the fishes and fresh lasagne. They have very good selection of Italian wined and very good tiramisu as a desert. Good service.

This is a great place to go for a business lunch in the neighborhood. I visited on a Thursday and a Friday. There was an option of a salad or a soup and two options for the main course on both the days. I got to try the gnocchi and the ravioli. Both were pretty good. The service was quick and friendly. Immer wieder gerne besuche ich das Sagrantino in Berlin Mitte. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und es ist immer ein netter Abend oder ein angenehmes Mittagessen. Das Carpacio ist einsame klasse und die Babycalamari auf Kichererbsenpuree mit Chillychoten sucht seinesgleichen in Berlin. Hier herrscht ein Suchfaktor! Auch das Lamm und die vielen Pastavariationen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Weinauswahl ist toll und es findet sich für jeden Geschmack etwas. Lediglich das Frühstück kann leider nicht überzeugen.

A busy & popular restaurant. All seating outside was taken on our arrival (8pm) so settled for a table inside by the door.The service was of good standard & friendly. Not great English speaking, but we got along ok. The restaurant ambience was nice and there was a good atmosphere.The food was good. Fresh bread with oil & vinegar whilst awaiting the mains. Lasagne freshly prepared and cooked, which tasted great & flavoursome. Nice sauce. Good size portion. Partner's pasta was good too.Would recommend & return.
