"We ate her as a three generations family group, including our two teenage granddaughters during a family weekend away. We had not booked, and a Sunday night. We had a lovely large table, restaurant was busy, but tables well spaced. Service was prompt and very...friendly. Interesting and varied menu with a few dishes we were unfamiliar with. It was our granddaughters first visit to an Indian restaurant, though they have had take aways. They loved it and one said her chicken masala was one of the loveliest things she had ever tasted, this is high praise as they eat well at home. The helpings were very generous and reasonably priced. Excellent evening out"

Excellent service, lots of vegan options, flavourful and rich but a little too oily. Generally clean but a few stains on menu and heat tray

Cannot rate the food and service enough. Saw great reviews about the restaurant and it lived up to it in full. Fantastic evening to end our mini break in the Peak District.

sangams was recommended to us by a native and we would certainly support this. very tasty meals packed with the most important ingredients and the double size of some typical takeaway offers experienced at other locations View menu

We fancied a change from pub grub after a few days in the Peak District and it was a great decision- the food was delicious and the portions were huge! Well worth a visit if you are in Hathersage. A brilliant meal! Thank you

end last year, we ordered food stores and rice. my wife is Indian, so we know about Indian food, the worst ever was the rice we cost, both curry dishes never discussed worth eating for. both waiters were uninterested....it was about 9.30 o'clock.

nice eating and incredibly friendly service. came to specifications, in pouring rain and we are welcome and shown to a table. menus immediately brought and order drinks. food discussed and ordered and it was absolutely fantastic. family owned for many years and now. the sons take care of the business of their father and they do an excellent job. great to discover such friendly people, there is still in a hard world. avoid it at all costs. Many thanks to the fact that they turned me away, which I wanted, was a bit warm and eat, but the coworker said that no table is available. I understand it was busy, but you employees immediately said no! I was one. once again thank you for turning me away, I have traveled around the uk give review for restaurants categorically the worst restaurant I have ever visited (and they will find that I am a level 6 reviews on tripadvisor

We visited on Sunday 8th august. We walked past the restaurant on the Saturday and it smelt fantastic. We requested a table that evening. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and made very welcome. Food was great and arrived quickly and hot. When they...found out we were on a stag party we were offered free drinks, as the stag didn’t drink they offered free chillis and enjoyed as we all sat there eating them and watching us scream in agony!! Would thoroughly recommend
