"We went to this restaurant for a meal after a theatre show. We decided to go with the set menu (£25 per person) and ordered the Korean wings and beef with rice. Both dishes were delicious, but the only downside was that the wings were very spicy and we were told that they could not be adjusted to our preference due to being pre-marinated. The service, however, was not as good as the food. We were seated very close to another couple at a nearby table, so close that we could hear their entire conversation, which felt intrusive. We also had to specifically request our drinks order. A 12.5% service charge was automatically added to the bill, which is common in London. However, when we asked for it to be removed because we were not satisfied with the service, we were told it was mandatory. Just a heads up, under UK law, service charges are discretionary unless stated otherwise and can be removed from the bill. After requesting to have the service charge removed, we received a somewhat cold reception, but we felt it was fair given our experience. The staff did eventually fulfill our request. In summary, the food was good, but the service fell short of expectations."

The food at this restaurant is excellent and unique, and the service is very good. Teresa, who works on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, took great care of us with her quick wit and diligence. We will definitely be coming back.

Was turned on to this spot by a couple travel bloggers. It totally lived up to expectations. Excellent food, excellent service, casual environment, great location. I recommend the theater menu; Wings, Salmon and French Toast Dessert. All excellent! View menu

After hearing great things on the Off Menu podcast, we decided to try this restaurant. The pre-theatre menu was fantastic! We started with the sea bass ceviche and Korean fried wings, followed by the Teriyaki salmon and miso aubergine for our mains. Everything was delicious! The staff were friendly and our food and drinks arrived quickly. I will definitely return for the miso aubergine alone!

We each received a cocktail when we got there and unlimited prosecco and/or wine throughout our time there. The staff were friendly, didn't rush us at all and tried their best to accommodate us. The food was lovely so much to choose from and unlimited small plates and as well as a large plate and dessert! Given all the options available, it was a great opportunity for us to try new things we haven't had before. I will definitely be going back again for the Sunday brunch it was amazing value, great food and an enjoyable experience.

I finally got the chance to visit Shackfuyu, a Japanese restaurant in the heart of Soho, and I must say it was worth the wait. As a fan of Bone Daddies and Japanese cuisine, I had high expectations, and I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, perfect for an enjoyable and laid back dining experience. Their menu offers a unique twist on Japanese dishes, and their Sandos are a must try truly delicious! And let's not forget about the Kinako French Toast (their only dessert on offer) was a delightful way to end the meal. I'm already thinking about my next visit! View menu

Rainy London afternoon for a late lunch. Not crowded I love this. Our waiter was both entertaining and efficient. We both chose the express lunch. I had Korean chicken wings, salmon and the famous French toast for dessert. If you’re in a hurry, you get hot, delicious food quickly. The chicken wings were finger licking good and so tender. The salmon was next level. The skin was crispy and there was this lovely salt which lifted the whole thing, and the aubergines were some of the best I’ve ever had. This was served with a sticky rice and washed down with a lovely white wine. Ok that French toast and matcha soft serve are worth the price of admission by themselves. 10/10 could not and would no...

Met friends here for dinner, showed up without a reservation and they had no problem accommodating us. We ordered lots of dishes to share and everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Special mention to the iberico pork sando and the ceviche, will definitely order those again next time. The max and cheese came with chicken skin scratchings baked into the top and then had tobiko on top of that, which was a delicious twist on the classic. We also tried their famous dessert and I must say, that and the 2 sandwiches were in the most incredible thick-sliced brioche, it was honestly perfect. The Yuzu frozen margarita was truly delicious, it was an excellent choice for dinner with friends...
