"We chose Something Else as a midpoint for friends to meet, reviews suggested it would be good but lunch exceeded expectations. We both had haddock, chips and mushy peas. Wonderfully light batter on fresh haddock, brilliant chips and excellent home steeped mushy peas. Our waitress Tory was charming and efficient, the upstairs restaurant is very welcoming and a really nice place to be. If only we lived closer."

We visited for a family lunch over Easter and had a lovely meal. Generous portions, tasty range of dishes and they even made garlic bread specially for my son. They gave us a lovely welcome and we really enjoyed our meal.

I often choose fish and chips when dining in a pub, so delighted to find this place providing such good take away fish and chips. Good quality chips, and lovely fish with out too much excess batter. Whenever I go, it always seems to be freshly cooked to order. Staff are all really helpful. Best in the area!
