"I ordered starters and two curries. Not only did I have to wait an hour and a half for delivery... but when my order came, they'd missed all of the starters off. The person taking the order had to ask the restaurant to be quiet to take the order and obviously missed half of it off. The owner when we called was ranting down the phone and not at all apologetic. Not only that, but she wanted to charge us extra for the things they'd missed off of the order, rather than apologising and getting it corrected. The order taker was stuck between what we were saying and her neurotic boss, who wasn't prepared to listen. My partner explained that she heard me make the call and order and I did order the starters, and they'd obviously not recorded it correctly. These guys are more concerned about money than service and reputation terrible business to treat customers in this way.. which is why I've felt compelled to write this, sadly."

Fantastic food. Service a bit off, wasn't open at 5pm as they were shopping as advertised and no card machine for whatever reason. Apart from that, best Thai food in Worthing by far.

Excellent choice, excellent food, good price, good website, good updates and fast delivery. I’d absolutely recommend this place! They even triple wrap containers so the food doesn’t leek everywhere. View menu

Awful food. Really awful. Green curry was beige and lacked any flavour. Rice had to be sliced with a knife. Pad Thai was bland and vile that went in the bin. 5 tiny prawns in my curry. Honestly the worst Thai/takeaway I’ve had.

Great place serving lovely tasty food. Friendly helpful staff. Had the hottest dish on the menu (can't remember the name) and wasn't disappointed. Will definitely return As an aside, if you are are a real ale lover you can bring your beer from the wonderful Brooksteed next door

Found a human hair wrapped up in the vegetable spring roll. Part of the hair had been in my mouth. I didn't want to finish the rest of the meal. Asked for a refund but they would only offer a refund for the spring rolls, as if I would be happy to continue eating the rest of the food. Avoid. View menu

sat here on Tuesday for birthday and had a fantastic evening. the staff was beautiful and very appealing, eating was fantastic, and overall had a brilliant experience! They just need to let them know in advance if they want some of their Chang beer towers so that they are on camp! nevertheless, beautiful restaurant and would highly recommend!

We placed a order for 4 at 7.15pm for a delivery.. we were called back by the manager/owner to say that the delivery would be more likely to arrive by 8.30 Pm.. at 8.45pm we called the restaurant to see if our order was on the way .. we were told that had been delayed and was just leaving.. we asked to speak with the manager/owner but they refused to come to the phone .. once the food arrived you could tell that the food had been sitting around as the sticky rice was like a brick! Unfortunately this is about the 4th time we have experienced delivery issues and due to this we will not being using them again

"I would first like to start out by saying that this is a gorgeous little cafe, with very friendly staff and great options for everyone. I have been eating at The Orchard for a couple of years, and have loved it. I am plant based, and have always found their vegan options to be brilliant! However, last week I accidentally ate meat for the first time in 6 years due to fault of the chef. Twice in a row, I have visited and ordered a vegan) seitan Reuben sandwich, and have been served the real meat version instead, which I believe contains corned beef traditionally. Luckily for me, the first time this happened, the waitress noticed before I could even eat any, and they replaced it quickly. I understand these things do happen, and am a big believer in second chances, so I went back recently. I ordered the same sandwich, and took 3 mouthfuls before realising something tasted unfamiliar, so I checked inside and found real meat. I was devastated when I realised, and so was the waitress and manager. The manager refunded our total bill, and was incredibly apologetic and mortified that it had happened. I know this wasn't any fault of the front of house staff they listened carefully. I feel like I can't go back, unfortunately, as I can't risk eating meat again. And I'm really sad that's the case, because this was one of my favourite spots to eat and I'll miss it so, so much!! I hate to rate a small business poorly, but I really felt I needed to warn any non meat eaters, as I can only imagine how much more devastating it would be if this happened to someone that gave up meat for religious or allergy reasons. If you eat meat then there's no need to worry, as this place is fantastic otherwise. If the cafe replaces their chef then I would love to come back one day... :"
