"A small, but friendly cafe. Great food and energetic chef in the kitchen. What really set this place apart from many others was how they dealt with errors in service. I ordered a bacon, brie and onion ciabatta. When it arrived they'd forgot to add the bacon. When I mentioned it, they immediately brought me our the bacon, and said my meal would not be charged for. Not only did the food taste great, but the way the dealt with the mistake was exemplary. Hence this being a 5-star rating."

Lovely little cafe. Had a sausage sandwich. Lovely fresh bread and 'proper ' pork and leek sausages. Very nice. Shame we don 't live nearer as I 'm sure we would visit again.

Have eaten there several lunchtimes now. Food is always freshly cooked and the menu is reassuringly small. Daily specials are always interesting and often quite unusual. It 's also remarkably good value for money. Both the owner/chef and those serving are friendly and helpful. It is a far better place to eat than the many out of the freezer into the microwave places which seem to be everywhere.
