"Do take time to search out this restaurant in Briones La Rioja. Tucked away on a street at the edge of the old town, Los 4 Arcos offers a very delicious and satisfying 3 course meal for 12 Euros. We arrived first at 13:00 but it soon filled up with locals. There were about 6 choices in each course and all looked delicious. We had the potatoes Rioja and salad, then the stewed veal and pork cutlet, for dessert a coffee flan that was incredible. The food was very flavourful and cooked with care. The house vino Tinto was great as was the macchiato. We highly recommend eating here."

"What impressed us the most was the excellent service, everyone had a positive attitude and seemed happy to be working there. Even the two nietos (grandkids) who helped around were polite and worked hard. The food was very good, although we found the lamb chops a bit rough, more like Australian lamb than Spanish lamb, but overall pretty good food at decent prices. The croquettes were very good and the salad was fresh and more than enough for three. Good wine selection at a fair prices. It gets very crowded on weekends so better to make a reservation, we didn't have one and had to wait until 4:00 o'clock to have lunch, but we used the time to visit the beautiful town and it was well worth it."

"The Vivanco restaurant is on the premises of the winery of the same name. It is a restaurant with a cafeteria. The place is comfortable, neat, clean. The food is very good with preparations from the region. The menu consists of an appetizer with three main courses, dessert and a drink. The waiters are very attentive and friendly, unbeatable service. From the windows you can see the neatly maintained vineyards and the town of Briones VERY, VERY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Vegetarian options: The menu is closed, however there are some vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: I don't know Parking: Parking on the premises. "Madre mía , madre mía qué derroche de cantidades y comida. Desde luego es imposible que salgas con hambre de ahí. Independientemente de que sabes que no vas a un Restaurante Michelin , la comida está bien. En el tema servicio , la verdad que ante semejante cantidad de clientes , no se les puede pedir más , siempre con una sonrisa en la boca. Yo en concreto me pedí una chuleta , que mira que me gusta la carne ,pero imposible acabarla , con sus patatas y su pimiento rojo. Fuimos a las 16:00 de la tarde ,ante la imposibilidad por el puente de encontrar por los alrededores otro sitio en el que comer ,sin reservar ni nada y estaban ya más tranquilos , pero se les había , por otra parte normal , acabado muchas cosas de la amplísima carta que tienen. Al no cerrar al mediodía hace que sea una opción muy buena , para comer sin reservar , aún con el peligro , como nosotros ,por desconocimiento de que haya menos cosas en la carta por lo anteriormente explicado. Fuimos el 12 de octubre , calor ,nos sentaron dentro y hacia mucho calor y muchísimas moscas , no se si por el día , por el calor o ....no se pero muy molesto aunque imagino que inevitable ,al ser un sitio tan amplio y rodeado de árboles y vegetación. Nos sorprendió una señora mayor , empleada o dueña o ....que se acercó a mí mujer a preguntarle si todo estaba bien y al ver que si costillar tenía poca salsa , le trajo una jarrita con salsa , que maja oye. No pudimos pedir postre estábamos llenos y nos tomamos el café , afuera y ahí ya ,menos calor ,pero las misma moscas , es lo que ahí. Volveremos más veces , eso sí esta vez en un día no festivo y con antelación , porque nos quedamos con ganas de probar otras cosas. Muchas Gracias por todo."

"Hemos estado en el fin de semana familiar en la casa rural y las habitaciones son hermosas cada una que es más hermosa que las tres que hemos tomado. todo super limpiar el comedor muy acogedor la muy buena comida y las raciones muy grandes que el camarero jesuita estaba muy atento y que decir de nuria la señora de la casa y restaurante los desayunos que nos trajeron nuria para decir más y mejor no puede. gracias por la atención y los detalles que has tenido, regresaremos."
