"Lovely waitress met us at the door with a beaming smile and escorted us to our table.. service throughout was exceptional, the staff seemed very happy! Food was very good, only small point... I ordered the Butternut Squash Wellington as I don't eat meat... that and the vegetables were beautifully cooked and presented, but no vegetarian gravy... I was given the same as those having the meat choice.... otherwise a wonderful meal"

excellent service. only disappointment was that there were no apple sauce to accompany the roast pork bell and no first choice wine. but otherwise a very pleasant experience. we're coming back!

The dining experience was enjoyable, but unfortunately they did not have the wine we were looking for. The prices were a bit steep, with a small bottle of beer costing almost £5 and a gin and tonic priced at £12. While we want to support our local restaurants, these prices may be a deterrent for some customers. It's no surprise that there were only three occupied tables.
