"tasty and tasty eating with a menu and a selection of Indian desserts. the food was tenderly seasoned, not as hot as they get in the rule in the British Indian cuisine, so if they recommend to visit from there that they were a somewhat hotter dish than...normal the Indian deserts were really good. we had to wait a while before we could order, but otherwise the service was in order. very beautiful decor...more elevated than the average Indian"

Indian restaurant just 500m from Heidelberg Hauptbahnof. The food started were quite small less in portion, the main course was good in portion and taste. The service can be improved.

this restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants in which I have ever been, they will enjoy the magic of Indian cuisine and spicy. great atmosphere and very professional and friendly staff, I really recommend it.

we were here for dinner in a group of 18-20 with previous booking. the hotel is contaminated with booking and had no space for us at 8 o'clock. we had to wait 10-15 minutes before he arranged two tables for our group, but we had to sit separate. that was okay. the service was pretty slow.

I am torn about this review because the food and service were very good for the dishes served, but not enough to justify their crazy prices for a main course which started at 18 euros but most went to 27 euros. There are too many...other good Indian places to eat in Heidelberg to pay twice the price of your competition.

I don’t like Indian food. Probably it’s bad experiences in the past, maybe some spices that don’t match my taste. Anyway, this was my first visit to an Indian restaurant after at least 15 years. Taj Mahal Tandoori in Heidelberg was just perfect tasty...food, great service, very clean, nice atmosphere. They really changed my opinion about Indian cuisine.

Dined here alone as was on business. The waiter told me to put my laptop away -really???? He also disapprovd when I ordered a glass of wine and asked was I alone..... Food was stodgy -all smelled the same coming from the kitchen. Very unremarkable...and looks better from the outside than the experience inside. That saidm Ive not found excellent food anywhere in Mannheim....
