"To future visitors: if you're looking for a meal, this is not the place to go. We went one evening and were informed that the kitchen was closed. Fair enough, we thought. The following night, on Saturday, we returned. The same person from the previous night informed us that the kitchen was closed again. It seemed a bit early, as it was only quarter to seven. However, a chef then came out with a dish of food. The staff member quickly added that the restaurant was for pre-booked guests only. It would have been helpful if we were informed about this earlier! We had anticipated this and tried calling the hotel multiple times that day to pre-book a table, but each time it went to voicemail. We also attempted to book a table through their website, but it was impossible to do so regardless of the time or day. It seems like they are not very concerned about customer service, which is unfortunate. This area is absolutely beautiful, but if you're craving some chips at quarter to seven on a Saturday night, I suggest trying somewhere else."

Lovely vintage hotel. Great view. Reasonable sized and comfortable room with a harbor view (14). Friendly and helpful staff. Heartedly enjoyed dinner and breakfast. 10/10 would stay here again.

We were staying at a local B&B, and were so pleased to spot in for a pint in the afternoon and decided to return for dinner that night. The restaurant was so welcoming and food was delicious. There was a lovely atmosphere and all the staff were so kind. Thank you!

We booked a table for a fantastic meal with my husband, staff were professional and friendly. The food was excellent. We had the Beer Battered Haddock and Chips, we can not fault it. So fresh and tasty. I had lime and elderflower cheesecake while my husband had the apple and blueberry crumble for dessert, again so delicious. Highly recommend to anyone we meet. View menu

This place is what you'd expect for a very old hotel in the middle of nowhere on the Scottish Coast. The room was nice, modern, but a bit dated by today's standards. We had a delightful dinner breakfast, both served by the same person. There's probably a small family that runs the place. Overall, if you're looking for a place to stay to get away to the Islands, this would be the place to do it.

2 nights at the Arisaig. Very friendly staff, enjoyed the restaurant both nights, breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, Sunday breakfast was marred by dueling dogs barking n the breakfast room. I mean, seriously??? Then one of the dogs went after a young boy and scared the devil out of him. Of course, the owners didn’t have any decency to remove their pets. Why the heck these animals need to bring their dogs everywhere?
