"Been a couple of times before and was lovely unfortunately it has changed significantly since then to our recent visit. We ordered the fish pie and Apple crumble the fish pie was nice extremely hot lots of sauce but not much fish the accompanying veg was minimal and cold. The crumble arrived with burnt topping you could smell it was burnt and it tasted burnt we sent it back we received another that was still burnt with the advice that it was dark sugar and dark flour we knew it was burnt but gave the waitress the benefit of doubt it tasted burnt even with the custard we left most of it. The food is extremely expensive and very little choice unless you are a raging carnivore. The waitress was lovely and very friendly and accommodating the male waiter appeared distracted and when asked for sauce and water he forgot the water. The atmosphere is relaxing the lighting is good you don’t feel rushed but the tables are very close and if you have a person with a loud voice sitting close by then it’s not relaxing unfortunately due to the prices and quod the food we won’t be returning we have booked elsewhere for our Christmas reunion Vegetarian options: Not enough choice"

Not impressed really. After a 13 hour shift I just wanted a good steak (med- well done) and it was solid and for just shy of £40 for a steak a few chips which was swimming in grease and 1 pint wasn't up to scratch so it's a place I won't be going again Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Sunday lunch 2 weeks ago. Initially staff very good..taking drinks order, then food orders. 2nd round of drinks took much too long to arrive. Meals also took a long time to be served. Sunday roast beef dinner very disappointing at £20 ! needs to improve substantially to warrant that price. On our table, best meals were Nut Roast, Fish and Chips, Beef Burger. Although all were overpriced. 3rd drinks, had to ask 3 times, was told bar had a lot of orders? Sweets ..Crumble OK, Toffee pudding Sponge dry. Overall Very disappointed and expensive.

We have just had probably the worst possible meal given that we had invited our friend from the north for dinner here. The calamari was 7 no bigger than hoola hoop size pieces in a very bland sauce weren’t crispy as advertised and basically exemely disappointing. The prawn cocktail was very overpriced 2 large prawns and a scattering of of broken shrimps. The pie had 3 pieces of meat half an inch square and pastry like the sole of a shoe. The chips were pre cooked pro so the day before rock hard) the tiny portion of coleslaw had a skin over the top they were that old. The base of one of the burgers was burnt and had obviously been scraped! And the meat was dry and overcooked. The ketchup was...

"Went here last night at the tail end of an office Christmas party and we stumbled (quite literally inside having been turned away at a restaurant next door. It was past closing though their OPEN sign was still on. Anyway! Although Oppa was just about to close, they took us in, a group of 6, and stayed open until we finished. When I realized we were in a Korean restaurant, I was so excited; I've been searching for a good Korean restaurant in the midlands. My colleagues were much less so as they had never had Korean food and were unfamiliar with everything on the menu. I ordered for everyone and despite some of them being difficult one colleague kept asking for samosas, aah! the service was faultless. Staff were super attentive and helpful, patient, friendly, good fun, and extremely accommodating. Just perfect! And they stayed open for us quite late without rushing us out, what more can you ask for? Ok, so the food. It was SO so good and I'm already planning to go back. The kimchi was bang on how I like (a big deciding factor for me strongly fermented/pickled and spicy, and fresh. All the bulgogi (marinated meat , dolsot bibimbap (sizzling rice bowl , jjigae (stew/ramen style soups , seafood and extras that were served tasted just like I had hoped they would. Presentation was great everything looked properly appetizing and vegetables and seafood, etc were all clean and fresh. I was too busy stuffing my face and enjoying the moment and company to take photos, but the few photos I've seen on here are true to life. Other things people might be interested in: This restaurant is kitted out to cook Korean BBQ at/in/on your table. It is spacious, with lots of tables and room to move around. Decor is tasteful and minimal. It is clean and indeed I was warned by staff when going upstairs to the ladies' to be careful as the stairs and the toilets had all just been cleaned (and clean they were! . If you're looking for good Korean food, look no further. If you're looking to try Korean food for the first time, this is a great place to start. Go for it! Might see you there, if I can help it :D [I've copied this review over from where I originally posted it because this listing and the one for OPPA in Leicester are the same exact restaurant, FYI]"
