"Food drinks: We went to the Chequers for a birthday dinner. The restaurant was very busy. The food was average this time, which it seems very strange as it was not the first time we had had dinner at the Chequers restaurant, and we were pleased with the experience I have ordered the fish of the day, as suggested by the waiter, which it supposed to be accompanied by saute potatoes and samphire. The fish was very meat and tender, but no flavour. The sanfire has been replaced by curly kale without having asked me if I was OK with it. We will probably give another go as I believe it was just a one-off occasion for the food being average"
