"Not a great experience, not enough staff, obviously not bothered about service,staff dressed badly waited age's to get served a drink at outside bar. When only 1 person serving, when food eventually arrived after 30 mins it had obviously been left under a heater to keep warm, as bacon was over cooked.along with the **** chicken and under cooked chips. Won't be going back, like most people I want value for money with decent service but most certainly didn't get it at the commodore"

Lovely place right by the water! Large outdoor area and an indoor outdoor area in the main bar too. Lovely food and top service, little wait on food but well worth it!

Lovely lunch here looking over Oulton Broad. Shame about the weather but the food more than made up for it. Lovely friendly attentive staff. Special thanks to Andy who made my trio of puds.

Love the commodore because of the view. I won't eat there again however. How do you actually think these were okay to send out. The cheesecake was also still very cold( i assume it was frozen)

Welcoming and very friendly staff. Food typical pub grub. But of a high standard. Very dog friendly, with a dog menu and water/beer bowl. Right on waterside, with outdoor seating and beer garden. Would definitely recommend.

Food was tasty but portion size was poor for its price. I ordered a pie and mash and the pie was more pastry than actual filling and the mash wasn’t very generous for its price! View and aesthetics of the place are very nice.

Went for lunch with my mum and we both had the bacon and chicken sandwich, was extremely good and great portion. They even asked if we had allergies. Great scenery and the staff were so helpful. Will make this our lunch meet spot from now on.

Five of us visited today for a birthday lunch. Food was lovely, couldn't fault the service, nice friendly staff. Lovely view of Oulton Broad from upstairs. Lots of outside seating, will be lovely on a sunny day! Definitely will return to try the outside when the sun is shining. Nice to have another nice dining place in the area.

Great place with friendly service. Delicious lamb, huge portion and great desserts. I have gluten intolerance, the service advised me on the choice of dessert perfectly. A great menu is complemented by a sensational view from the window. It's one of the best birthdays I've had, although the staff was disappointed that I didn't mention it until the bill. You are great. I recommend to everyone. We will be back.
