"Went to this pub for the first time excited to try the food. The man serving the drinks was very kind and welcoming, however when we went to order food, the other man said there was no food as there was no chef and asked if we could cook do we want a job. The younger man apologised for the older guy’s behaviour. Very disappointed as other people in the pub where eating food. Will not be returning. Price per person: £1–10"

To be honest quite shocking, £15 for a chicken burger, which was like a flat patty from farm foods, should have had salad, 1 slice of tomato, cucumber, the smallest bit of onion and a few shreds of lettuce. Would have got a 1 star but the other meals were OK. View menu

Poor service. We had to go and look for the waitress to place our order, who was busy playing with her mobile phone. The table next to us, which was vacated quite soon after our arrival, remained uncleared throughout our meal, as did several others. The food was expensive and unremarkable. Drinks were just expensive. Ambience was non existent. We will not be going back.
