"this place was beautiful. we went for a family meal and it was really accepting children and dog friendly. very old pub but modern in nature served it some nice eating that we all enjoyed. they brought the children to the starter who really helped. the beer on the hahn was also beautiful. would recommend a visit."

I have recently visited two family funerals here, and we were very well maintained, including gluten-free. the boat ferry boat is a delightful village pub, and quite spacious inside, with its own parking.

they were here twice during half the price of meals. beautiful pub, beautiful atmosphere, great staff. ham, eggs, chips and salat is our favorite dish and their is excellent. highly recommended, their homemade crumbs and Custard

Great pub. Been there on e before when we were up from Portsmouth, the food was fantastic then. Back again for a more sombre occation but the atmosphere and food was still as good. Great pub with great service, food and surroundings. A must visit.

very recommend the coworkers and their hospitality, we arranged a wake here and the catering was excellent. in particular the attention to our various nutritional needs, vegan vegetarian lactose free and gluten free! the bar staff were very attentive but not above the tip. many thanks.

I feel conflicted about this place. The ambience and decor is lovely, and I liked the food. However when I ordered a sauvignon blanc (without seeing the wine list) I was surprised and unhappy at the £9.60 price for a large glass. My fault for not checking first I suppose but still dear.
