"Not for me. Car park was full with some selfish and bad parking going so parked elsewhere. Low ceiling felt a little claustrophobic. Very nice interior and character. Drink order never arrived. Had to prompt. Food was lovely. Ordered Sunday Roast. Not biggest portions. Made a joke with one server, fell flat. It all felt a little awkward. Had dessert and was offered bill. Wasn't offered if we wanted anymore drinks. Ordered tea. By the time we barely finished our cups of tea the bill was bought over to us. We hadn't requested it. Paid and different server apologised in respect of problems with coffee machine. Pointed out that we never had or ordered coffee. Just very weird and awkward. On leaving staff member did not say goodbye. It felt like we did something. No idea what. Won't be back. Better places to spend £60 on lunch."

I had an amazing lunch at this restaurant with great service. I will definitely be back. They offer a variety of vegetarian options on their menu. Parking is simple and easy. There is plenty of space for kids. The price per person is typically between £20 and £30. I would rate the food and service both a 5 out of 5.

This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, with friendly service and delicious food. I give it 5 stars all around. They have a spacious parking lot in the back of the property. The average price per person is between £20-£30. I highly recommend trying the Steak and Ale Pie. Overall, there is plenty of parking available with the option of a free parking lot. View menu

Beautiful Sunday Roast! Great service, food was superb. This pub is stunning, open fires, original stone brick walls inside. Couldn't fault it, our children even got their main courses for free on a Sunday, seemed to be an offer they had on. We will be back! Thank you! Vegetarian options: Lots of good choices for vegies Dietary restrictions: Has a good allergen menu on request Kid-friendliness: Our kids ate for free on the Sunday Wheelchair accessibility: Very good entrance for wheelchairs

Quite probably the best family friendly food pub for miles around. Staff are so helpful, very accommodating and the food is always fantastic. Good selection of ales and beers, wine menu with a decent selection too! What are you waiting for? Parking: There is parking but spaces are not delineated so you get the odd person who parks inconsiderately, taking up extra space in an already limited car park. If they painted some lines to help these folk out, it’d be a bit easier. Kid-friendliness: Always great for small people here. High chairs, activities and colouring to keep them entertained. Kids menu is small but the food is delicious and there’s something for everyone.

"We choose this spot because of the many positive reviews. I guess we turned up on a bad day!I have only been introduced to coffee a few years ago despite being in my mid 50’s and really don’t like coffee unless a well made flat white. I travel the world frequently for work and always ask the same question, can you make a flat white? The reason being unless the person is a passionate barista I rarely get a coffee I enjoy. This question clearly upset the lady serving us who ‘rolled her eyes out loud’ by the question and then represented the request to her colleague in a manner that was more like ‘we have a pain in the arse’ than ‘can we make this gentleman a nice coffee. (Yes we overheard).Everything was fine except the flat white was a milky coffee and not something I enjoyed. Not a problem though. I never said a word but when asked at the counter how things were I thought I would say everything was good except the ‘flat white’. Immediately confronted by both in very hostile way was very surprising as I was only answering a question I thought they were interested in hearing I placed a review on their website and their response is a really good example of their attitude. Instead of focusing on service recovery they wanted to blame me and absolve themselves of any responsibility.I of course mentioned this to a few people in Sleaford and surprise surprise was met with very similar responses, ‘we don’t go there anymore as the staff can be very rude’ Looking forward to seeing how the proprietors decide to respond to this one."
