The beer is good, though a bit on the pricey side, but the food is also nice, and the atmosphere is enjoyable.

This restaurant is worth every penny! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the portions are generous. The Ploughman’s is absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Keep up the great work!

This is an excellent place to visit, located right next to the Oakham railway station in an old goods shed. They offer a selection of cask Grainstore beers that are in superb condition. The lunch menu is also impressive. I highly recommend it! View menu

Food is lovely home cooked food. We got 2 for 1 which was brilliant steak and gammon for price of one meal....staff always polite and helpful nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel very comfortable. We love it here whether it is to have breakfast at weekend or a nice relaxing meal.

We stopped by the Grainstore on a whim before our train and were promptly assisted by a fantastic guy named Ben. He took the time to walk us through all the beer options and recommended the best items on the menu. His service was top-notch and truly enhanced our experience. We will definitely return to the Grainstore in the future!

My husband fell in love with the Grainstore Cider when we were visiting Oakham over Christmas. So much so that we decided to serve it at our wedding. We just wanted to say a massive thank you to Wayne, Ben, and the guys for helping us organize delivery for our special day. Our guests from the UK and US all enjoyed the Cider. Thanks again!
