"We had originally booked a room at a large hotel, but upon arrival, they were fully booked. After searching online, we stumbled upon this charming place by chance. We called at 9pm and were pleased to find that there were available rooms. The room at the pub was comfortable, with friendly owners who were very accommodating. The breakfast included in the stay was lovely and affordable. Downstairs, there was a great atmosphere for those looking to have a drink. However, guests staying in the rooms might be bothered by the loud music. Thankfully, we enjoyed the music playing during our stay. Thank you for having us!"

The restaurant has its windows closed and nailed shut with steel sheets. Unfortunately, I believe that pubs are a thing of the past.

The rooms are lovely, clean, and comfortable. The cozy bar with an open log fire is very nice and the staff are friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

Popped in on Sunday on the way back from the coast as my Aunty lives in the village. What a find! Sat with the dogs in the beer garden. Delicious roast (even on a roasting day! and lovely waiter. We may be visiting you more now Aunty P! lol View menu

We dined at this restaurant on May 31st for my birthday. It was our fourth visit in recent times and certainly won't be our last. The food was wonderful, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We even received a complimentary bowl of delicious chicken wings. Thank you.

Eight of us went to this pub after a nice walk on Saturday afternoon without knowing about their kitchen hours. We were surprised to find out they didn't have a cook until 5 o'clock, but they offered us some delicious appetizers and chips instead. We were extremely pleased with the camembert, soup, garlic mushrooms, and large portions of cheesy chips. We were very grateful for the tasty food and friendly service. I would definitely recommend this place!
