Lovely friendly staff. Great garden. Fabulous food. We went once for lunch and once for dinner on our two day trip. Highly recommended!

We had a first class pub lunch here. Food was excellent with good sized portions and staff were friendly and helpful. Our dogs were well looked after too!

Popped in on spec on the afternoon of October, whilst staying at the Marine hotel, food better here than hotel!! I had chicken pie which was very flavoursome, my wife had the wings which were excellent very relaxing afternoon beer and excellent food,...staff friendly and welcoming.

this is one of our favorite hits and not to deliver. it is a traditional bar with a traditional local customer and much better for it. no nerves, no air and merciful just eat good and drink in a relaxed atmosphere. a word of. they don't try to get me when international football or rugby is on TV.

What can one say? Brilliant little pub, very friendly staff the food was great. We both had The Big Dirty served on hot plates YES keeps the chips hot to the end, the chips were great the gravy made from the meat.. the meat melted in the mouth, sooo tender, no fat, no gristle just beautiful beef. thank you for a lovely lunch, if it were around the corner back in Doncaster we would be there every week

Been to Troon hundreds of times as live in Ayrshire and I don’t know why I have never been here . Anyway went to the beer garden as good weather and we decided to get something to eat . I got a course of...the smaller menu and the portions were great. Also food for me Mac and chips were delicious. My husband went for the normal menu and got a steak dish with peppercorn sauce over chips and he said it was good. Definitely will return and recommend.

visited the harbour bar on the september and we were not disapointed firstly staff were fantastic all the girls were really attentive and service with a smile we sat out on the fantastic beer garden had great food (piping hot) nice to go...to a real old fashioned pub!keep it simple ,we had a great day thanks to the staff and locals ! hard to find a real pub and staff as i said were really genuinely friendly ! robert and margaret thoms from glasgow

I am from a lot and was in Scotland for the weekend, my hubby went for a walk on the beach and then found the next pub this. Thank you, we found it. the personal was so friendly, friendly, always to be careful that we have everything we needed. we ordered some turkey dinosaurs for the dog that cut them up and put them in a container (brill). the main event of this pub is eating, the chef really needs a scream out here, because by gosh! we ordered hühnergyros and there were the BEST gyros of all time. there were enough food, the flat brote were perfect. To be honest, I wish you were here in a lot, I'd be there every day.

what a tasty bite! we have fallen for lunch from the beach. After we had assumed that we would only be safe for fish and chips, we ended up with a Greek dish, madras curry and bark stripe in garlic cream between us. the madras Curry...was one of the few milk-free options that one of our party needed and the staff was very patient in the question of the kitchen in this view regarding various options, although the kitchen was very busy at the time. there was a pretty wait for eating, but not unreasonable given the time arrived and the wonderful freshness of eating delivered. would definitely recommend, even if personally had done without the easily deflecting football screen in the background,...
