"The Pinot grigio was very light and fruity, and very delicious. The Starters were lovely, vert tasty, and different from other starters that are offered at most pubs. The mains were very disappointing, the liver was tough, and the fish pie had two prawns and three small pieces of fish, and the mass potato was instant potato and runny. I am excited to go back to this pub. It was busy on Sunday lunchtime, but that wasn't a bad thing. The biggest disappointment was the long wait - 15 minutes for drinks, 1 hour for our food (we all ordered the roast), and another hour for dessert. The staff and owner were very friendly, but they need to work on improving their wait times. The food was good for a Sunday lunch, but I was surprised to see an additional cost for the beef.

We haven't been in jackdaw inn for 4 years but always had a nice meal before. When we turned up had a nice greeting from the staff. We waited at the bar it would be nice if the fire was on as it felt cold and dark. We ordered starters and mains. It was ok. It wasn't wow like I said 4 years ago. Pork belly was tough and chewy.
