"We had a party of eight and had to wait for a table. When our food arrived, most of us were satisfied, but two ladies ordered the steak sandwich. Unfortunately, it was served with a dry roll and a thick, tough piece of steak, while they were expecting thin slices. The sandwiches were taken back and could have been replaced, but they chose to eat something else instead and were not charged for it. It would have been better if the steak had been prepared well, but the situation was handled quickly and without much fuss."

Unfortunately the food wasn’t very warm and we didn’t get the vegetables or stuffing advertised. We asked for them but they never came. Came away feeling disappointed.

The menu had a nice variety, but unfortunately, 75% of the items were unavailable. I ended up with an overpriced sausage and mash as my fourth choice. It felt like pub food at high-end prices!

It was a decent experience overall. The food was quite average, and the staff wasn't very attentive. However, the bartender was really friendly. While I wouldn't return for another meal, I did enjoy the beer garden when we had a drink there earlier.

When I tried to order food, I faced another long wait, only to learn that two out of the four menu items were unavailable—at 7:00 PM, no less! When the food finally arrived, it was disappointingly mediocre and had the taste of old frying oil. If you're planning to head to the theater afterward, I would advise against this Inn, as the atmosphere is quite loud with music and groups watching football, which may cause you to miss the opening.

We were a table of 8 upstairs and had to wait quite a while for service. When our food came the majority were happy but 2 ladies ordered the Steak Sandwich and when it came it was a dry roll with thick tough steak. They were expecting thin slices of steak. These were taken away and could have been replaced but they opted for soup instead, which they enjoyed and there was no charge. Would have been better if the steak was good but it was dealt with quickly and with no quibbling.
