I've visited this charming pub several times since we have family nearby in the forest. Although I’ve never eaten here, the food looks incredible! The staff are always very friendly and attentive. The pub is dog-friendly, clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the real ales are excellent. I always enjoy my visits and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area. I ordered the lamb shank with Sunday roast, and unfortunately, it wasn't impressive—it tasted like something you'd get from a supermarket's frozen section. There wasn't enough gravy, and the plates were cold. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly. However, both of the desserts I tried came out unheated, which made it clear that they weren't made in-house. As for the cost, it was around £20–30 per person. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4.

This was our first visit to The Miners Arms, and it certainly won't be our last. The place is impeccably clean from top to bottom. The landlady and staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I ordered the hunters chicken, while my husband had the ham, egg, and chips. Both meals were delicious and came with a delightful side salad. Thank you, Miners Arms, for a wonderful meal and warm hospitality. You definitely deserve a glowing 5-star review from me. We'll surely be back! The price per person was around £30–40. View menu
