"I had a wonderful birthday meal at this restaurant tonight. After returning to the area, I took a chance on booking a table here because it was a favorite spot from my childhood and I even worked here for a few years as a young adult. I was delighted to find that the bar was just as welcoming and friendly as I remembered, and even some of my old neighbors from my childhood greeted me by name, which made me very happy! The food was exceptional... My friend and I started with momos, served by the friendly waitress, Sonia. The mixed grill and lamb vindaloo were absolutely delicious! We had to take some home because we couldn't finish it all. Thank you for a lovely meal- I will definitely be back soon."

I went to this restaurant for a family birthday and the mixed grill is amazing - it's huge and great value. I would highly recommend this dish and the restaurant to anyone.

Had meal delivered from here part of meal was missing , what was delivered most was burnt . Chips were awful won’t use again that’s for sure . Have to give one but if left to me it would be minus.

Starting with the appetizers and ending with the outstanding Gurkha goat curry, every bite at this restaurant was a pleasure. The friendly service, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere all combined to create a truly enjoyable dining experience.

Returned to the Morris Msn for a friends reunion. Never eaten here before and initially was not impressed with the venue and decor. Basically a back room in a pub. Menu was limited but the food was great. Quick, friendly, efficient service with reasonable prices. View menu

Great place. Not at all flash which is fine by me. The quality of the food is fantastic! I had the Gurkha lamb which had quite a kick. My son had chicken madras. Not overly salted or laden with bad fats like you so often get at Indian restaurants (this is Nepalese with Indian food also). The naan alone is worth travelling for!

We visited the Morris Man based on recommendations that the food was good. The food was good but the service was awful. From start to finish it took a age (1 hour, 40 minutes) from ordering to get served. We received a complimentary bottle of wine as an apology, so we were genuinely surprised when it appeared on the bill. Only querying this, a surly man in a baseball cap told us it was our fault as we had ordered some thing that took a long time to cook. Not the best end to a busy week. Very disappointing.

Visited early on a Thursday evening. Place was empty but very warm welcome. Ordered drink whilst I waited for friend to arrive. First time I had eaten here. Friend arrived and we ordered food. Place started to fill up quickly with large parties and couples. We had samosas from the specials board to share. Nice and spicy with a spicy dip. We then ordered goat curry and Gurkha lamb curry and a roti. Really good portions and the flavours were lovely. Plenty of meat in both curries. The food was much better quality than I was expecting, really tasty. What let the place down was the service which was slow and at times quite ignorant. When I went up to pay both members of staff turned and looked at me but then turned back to whatever they were doing without saying a word. This lasted for a while until I sat back at my table and after a few minutes tried again, this time I just about got a response and paid. If the service was as good as the food this would be a top rated restaurant. I appreciate they were busy but not acknowledging customers is not on

Visited here as had heard really good things from friends. I was expecting the run down looking space as I had heard it was based in a back room of a pub but was expecting both excellent food and service. Unfortunately we had to wait 1hr and 30 minutes for our food. What made it worse was that tables who had arrived after us got served before us. The excuse from the manager was that it was the dishes we had ordered. This was not explained at the time of ordering nor did it explain why the table behind us who had ordered the same dishes after us got theirs 20 mins before us. The food was fine but the evening was completely spoilt by substandard service.
