"We visited the restaurant on Tuesday night and were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff at the bar. They escorted us to our table in the dining room, where we ordered sirloin steaks and a bottle of wine, along with the delicious grape butter cake for dessert. The food was fantastic, just like the service! If you're ever in the Allerthorpe/Pocklington area, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!"

4 of us booked in for 1pm Friday. Great food. So sorry we hadn't realised the pub closed at 3pm we had to be ushered out at 3.30pm! Our fault lol

My husband and I visited The Plough Inn yesterday after a visit to York as we wanted to try somewhere we hadn't been before. The food and service were fantastic. Definitely recommend.

This is our first visit here today, and I can't believe we had never come before, considering we don't live far away. The food was excellent—I had three courses, and each one was delicious.
