"We stayed in the hotel and the rooms were lovely. No complaints on them at all. The breakfast was a slightly different story. The staff were lovely and came quickly. I ordered the Queens breakfast without tomatoes or mushrooms. The breakfast then arrived with both tomatoes and a giant mushroom which I gave to someone else after the smell of both made me feel sick. The bacon looked microwaved too, never seen a pan/grill. There was no black pudding either. When we mentioned it to the man who came over and asked for it, he said yes, but never returned. Not a huge complaint, but it's annoying when the room was £122 and included whatever breakfast you wanted from the menu. Unfortunately, I didn't really get mine."

Did not stay overnight. Food and selection of wine and gin was great. All staff were friendly and great with my dogs.

Absolutely great service and food, couldn't fault it. I went with my daughter and baby grandson and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely ambience and the Christmas decorations looked lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Couldn't really fault this place. The room was a little dated but very clean and the beds were comfortable. The pub itself was really homely and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay here again. The location was spot on.

We hired out the crown room for a baby shower and the service and food was amazing! The room is decorated lovely. The communication beforehand was brilliant and Yasmin our waitress on the day was excellent. The food was 10/10 as always. Thank you

Honestly the best meal we have had in a while. The chef clearly knows what he's doing. Nice surroundings, great atmosphere, really great position on the front in Lytham and puddings to die for. We loved it so much that we cancelled our lunch for tomorrow and rebooked at the Queen's. Looking forward to tasting their roast.

This really is the best place in Lytham. Friendly staff, great surroundings and excellent home cooked food. Wide choice of craft ales, wines and spirits. Yet to have a bad experience. It’s definitely a ‘go to’ premises for a nice relaxed drink or food. Thank you to the management and staff for all you do to keep The Queens popular.

Perfect stop over. Nice pub with traditionally furnished rooms, very comfy beds and modern bathrooms, with a great view. Food is excellent and service is friendly and efficient. Location can't be beaten in Lytham. Only slight negative is the corridor and stairs to the rooms, the carpet is very stained and detracts from the overall experience and the first impression before you get to your lovely room. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Our first visit to the Queens for some time as we live over an hour away. It was up to usual high standards with great service and quality food at reasonable prices in these days of food inflation. We had lunch time sandwiches with a bowl of chips, they were great, the very helpful young lady who served us may remember my comments about the Clifton Arms giving us 9 chips a number of years ago, which was a complete rip off. I am also a fan of it's sister restaurant the Ship in Freckleton.

After a lovely walk along the coastal path we arrived at the queen’s for our pre booked table it was quite busy for a Tuesday night so book ahead to avoid disappointment. The decor is very nice and there are different levels of seating, order taken we decided on main courses only as the portions looked generous we had a burger and one of their summer kebabs on a flat bread both were delicious accompanied by a nice bottle of Chenin blanc the service was very good from mathew who was excellent it’s dog friendly so be aware and the rock music is quite loud!!
