Very tasty fisherman’s pie and the best risotto I’ve had! Lovely setting and very friendly staff. Came for my birthday while staying locally and they unexpectedly added some special little touches. Would return

Excellent meals. Swordfish cooked and presentation were to perfection. My partner had the seafood linguine ,superb. Staff attentive, especially kieran. A very nice Sunday afternoon and made to feel very welcome.

everything about this place was amazing, eating was honest soouo tasty, I was surprised how reasonable the prices are too. I had heard about his impressive call, but now I experienced it for myself, I could not agree anymore. I'm looking forward to next. Thank you.

was only in his hidden gem with some friends to pick up for a girlie. absolutely beautiful eating and the staff were attentive and helpful. special cries to the biscoff cheesecake. make sure they leave room, because this is not to be missed. Thank you. I'm back with that man.

Having just left The Rosebud we were very impressed with the service. The menu had a great choice; even on a Sunday. Including traditional pub classics and seafood. I loved the sword fish. Portions were very large and I made the mistake of over ordering…...we didn’t have room for pudding. Great atmosphere; would recommend.

friends catch up girlie night......from the moment we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff. Nothing was a problem, very attentive, food was great, portion size perfect, price amazing, could not fault at all! We have eaten here before, for my birthday, and enjoyed it so much we were determined to return. Expectations were high as it had been so good before, however, we were still amazed by the food again! Chicken linguine was wonderful. Moist flavourful chicken...with a green drizzle that was so nice I could have drunk it! Seafood, wonderful, and my very fussy sister almost licked her plate clean, she enjoyed the swordfish so much. Cannot recommend this place enough. Well done chef. Why don’t you have a Michelin star yet?

Weekend in Brightlingsea and just came across this place after a Google search. Booked a Friday night dinner with friends who live nearby. Wow what a find! Sarah is front of house and Tom slaving away in the kitchen rustling up mouth watering dishes, both...equally amazing. All four of us had seafood or a fish dish. Seafood linguine, full of seafood and the best we've ever had. King Prawn risotto so rich and flavoursome. Tuna steak, pink in the middle and cooked to perfection. Haddock chowder delicious and served with a cheese toastie..... yum! So good we went back Saturday afternoon and sat in their garden to enjoy the best view in Brightlingsea (thats my opinion). Then back again in the ev...
