I took a quick lunch on the chance with my dad. friendly, polite and tasty eating at a reasonable price. and dog’s beer, that knew!? very recommend a visit, but would recommend booking, as we only got one table as we were early.

My favourite pub ... idyllic location ... delicious food including the best steak pie ever ... nice mix of clientele... very efficient service.... great selection of food at reasonable price .... and the best selection of gins I have ever seen ...

What a lovely friendly pub unfortunately they were too busy for us to have lunch as we didn’t book early enough but had to pop in and try one of their 117 gins I would recommend the black shuck with all the trimmings we will return but will book earlier next time

the best pub roast all time! we loved everything about our visit to the ship inn. the personal was friendly, eating was excellent, including monstrous delicious puddings, and the atmosphere was great! we also appreciate the beautiful buildings and shabby chic. wonderful pub, thanks! View menu

Always love popping into this pub after a coastal walk !! We have been lucky enough to most visits, sit in the beer garden . Drink , snacks of , sandwich , salad and crisps and half pint of prawns with salad and bread , horseradish cream yummy !! Have had other meals and Sunday lunch , lovely !! Great selection of gins

what a great pub, a warm welcome, staff all very helpful, especially with the help to find some great tasting gins. had a fantastic frying on Sunday, followed by a creamy cheesecake and snuggle to lunch today, so we thought we were for fish cake and a cley smokehouse seafood plate, best fish cake I had. they would recommend
