"A lovely improtu meal with my family, when visiting from Suffolk. Everyone enjoyed their meals I had a delicious king prawn and scallops (which I highly recommend), as well as kedgeree fish cakes which were also good. Service from Matt, Kaz, Caitlin and the rest of the team was friendly, speedy and attentive. It was a really nice, spacious pub and the toilets were clean too! Sadly, I was only up for the weekend and not a Tuesday hopefully I can convince my local Vintage Inn to start doing a pub quiz!"

First visit as it's quite a way from home. Really enjoyed my meal. Could only manage a starter and a main. Far too full for a pudding . Will be going again just to try the pudding.

Today we had visited lunch, we had the Christmas menu. We had mixed feelings about eating with hits the fish and pork and misses, the apple cake was disappointing, like the butternut cheese and salt cake. the place itself is very beautiful, with a good atmosphere, and the service was good. large selection of menu, little expensive) eat and service very well. it was a special occasion, so it could not succeed to pay, but not go regularly. we were pleased that the service fee would be removed as this is automatically set up for large groups, but we wanted to pay it so that it went on.

nice pub where we were told that we could take our dogs if we didn't mind eating in the bar. but it's the best cash I've ever seen. I think of a bar with men's gangs watching the sport, and all that noise that goes with it. but this is a beautiful, quiet, nimbleable with individual tables. you don't think you were in a bar. the food was good. personal pleasant. Kaz and Fin provided excellent customer service at this restaurant. We were promptly seated at a table and given menus, then our order was taken by another employee. The service was friendly, efficient, and the entire team worked seamlessly together. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and willing to answer any questions we had. The food was also fantastic.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our son's 4th birthday here this afternoon. The service was incredibly friendly and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the Seabass and Calamari, which were delicious. I washed it down with a pint of Atlantic by Sharps, which was perfectly chilled and served with care. Thank you for being so accommodating and relaxed with our lively group.

"Really nice pub would return if i lived in the area. Visited for a beer and some food with wife and infant daughter, large carpark, is located at the top of the hill, staff and the locals were very welcoming. Nice selection of ales lagers and spirits. Restaurant section looked to be closed, but the lounge was bright and modern finish. Pub menu was served as per the website but they had a nice choice of specials. Had the special starter peri peri chicken samosa with pickled molis, perfect balance of curried samosa, sharp pickled mooli and spicey peri, came with an interesting almost experimental bread and charcoal garlic butter, mmm yummy main was a wholesome hearty gaint yorkshire brimmed with onion gravey and sausages dressed with a herby oil and fries on the side, was perfectly portioned for a big fella like me, may be too much for some, but a brilliant meal. Finished off with a white chocolate raspberry blondie, with a tart raspberry coolis and custard. Wife had the burger was thick and tasty, nicely seasoned. Daughter had a big portion of fish fingers and chips. Table services was efficient and friendly. Locals were nice to talk to aswell. We all left happy and full, would recommend. Parking: Big lot next to the pub would fit about 12 designated drivers Kid-friendliness: Had kids chair available, changing facilities in the disabled, large selection on the kids menu. Friendly staff, welcomed kids as well as adult. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot"
