Had sunday roast dinner and could not fault it. Food was lovely and hot and plenty of it. Will definitely go again.

with my young one from liphook to liss, 2. visit and burger were the 2nd time around . the best burgers on travel, even cycling for!

We've been enjoying drinks and meals here for years, and it's one of the best pubs in the area—I couldn't rate it any higher. After this evening, I just had to share my thoughts; the atmosphere was absolutely amazing!

Popped in on the way back from visiting family, I had fish n chip's which was delish and my other half had ham egg n chip's which he said was also very nice. After visiting the gardens of Gilbert White for lunch, Clare had the ham, egg, and chips, while I enjoyed the best game pudding with mash and gravy, paired with a pint of championship beer. Clare ordered the chocolate lover’s dessert and claimed it was her favorite so far! She had a few too many! We'll definitely return!

I've only just moved to Liss with my girlfriend and this is the first pub we visited. We had no idea what to expect but we're glad we visited. The food was amazing! I can't remember the last pub we visited that had us going on about how nice the food was during the meal and still going on about it on the car journey home! The staff were all really friendly and helpful too! We will be back!

If they are ever nearby, we will definitely give it a try again. The food was amazing! From the starters to the dessert—just wow. We had the Camembert plate, which was incredibly rich and very generous (enough to share among several of us). The fish torte was fresh, creamy, and a hearty option for the colder months. Even though I was stuffed by the end of the meal after enjoying all the delicious cream desserts, I can't emphasize enough how warm and friendly the staff was. Our server (although I didn't catch his name) was very attentive and accommodating to my 1.5-year-old son. The next time we're on this side of the pond, we will definitely be back!
